Is your fridge empty or full?

Mine is either full of going off stuff or empty. Nothing is ever put back in the same place and new stuff is just shoved in front of old.
I've just thrown away three bags of food (salad, meat, Pitta, juice, dips etc) and it really annoys me.
New milk is opened before old us finished and empty boxes are left in the freezer.
What is your fridge situation 😇

Full at the moment, and most times tbh. Everything roughly has a place and nothing is ever wasted if at all possible. I hate it when I have to throw anything away, I hate being wasteful and it's just throwing money down the drain.
Fruit and veg last for ages even after the sell by date when kept in the salad drawer. If I buy a particular ingredient like carrots or mushrooms for example, I try and plan at least 2-3 different meals I can make out of them.
Who's the one who's opening new milk before old and leaving empty boxes in the freezer? That would annoy me! :mad:0 -
Went shopping Sunday so its fairly full. Saying that, theres only me at home till Friday so theres not that much in it.
My fridge gets cleaned out every week, usually the day before we go shopping. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Freezers both fullish - fridge half empty as I've just had people round for lunch.
I'm not old style but I do hate waste and would very, very rarely throw meat away!0 -
Usually pretty empty - there's only me so there's not too much to put in it. Everything has a place though and if anyone else goes in there and moves anything it really annoys me! It's very rare that anything gets thrown away.0

Mine's usually pretty empty. My fridge is too big and I've nothing much to put in it.
I've got squash drinks in there and a couple of packs of cheese, a tub of margarine, ketchup and salad cream. That's what's usually in there.
Right now I've also got some extras: a pack of mini tomatoes, a pack of cocktail sausages.
It'd all fit on one shelf .... and still have room.
It doesn't get much more full than that. I buy what I know I need/can eat. As the fridge is for perishables, things are eaten pretty quickly, so bought rarely/in small quantities. Zero waste here.
What's in there now will be in there for about the next week without being added to.0 -
I'm like MissB, i've got two freezers that are full but the fridge is half empty. Only day-to-day stuff in there.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

My husband opens the first whole milk he sees, and my daughter puts empty packets back in the fridge. She takes the lid off the cheesespread, takes the last triangle, and leaves the box in the fridge.
I'm just doing a lesson plan for them both at the weekend to teach them how it should be done.Never again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:0 -

Fridge always full.
Freezer pretty much full, depending on where I am with batch cooking.
Full at the moment, I've just put 3 lots of mashed swede in plus brinal bhaji (all home cooked) and some garlic & coriander naan for the Indian later in the week.
There's not many boxes in the freezer as most of my stuff is either fresh meat that I take out of any packaging before freezing or stuff that I've cooked myself.
I'd be very annoyed if anybody left empty boxes in the freezer or even empty bottles or jars in the fridge.
That's just sloppy.0 -
Right now, fridge pretty full.
However, teenagers will emerge from pit of homework shortly, at which point all bets (& possibly planned Burns Night Supper) are off unless we feed them Quickly....0
