Morning all. Hope you're all feeling fresh today. I am - actually got a good night's sleep.

So far today I've done 30 mins jogging, fed the dogs and had mushrooms on toast. Next is getting the chicken in the oven and washing up. Then I want to have a bath, walk the dogs, get up to date with the washing and mop floors.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all! Where's the sunshine from yesterday gone? I want it back as it was lovely.

Just finished a typing job - got another one to do today as they're needed back for tomorrow evening and I'm out for a fair part of the day for S's dyslexia assessment so trying to plan ahead. Also need to do some ironing and when the boys (J&S) have finished their DIY which makes a huge mess will need to vacuum the hallway - they're putting in a door and window on the downstairs bathroom; it was all open before and you had to whistle if you were in there ;-)

Hope you are all OK. CY how are you doing sweetie?

Time for another cup of tea and some parrots. Think Z's cold has got me so got sore throat, sore eyes and feel a bit bleugh generally. Laters x

Another one here with a streaming cold - it really got going yesterday evening, so I hope I haven't infected our friends who came round for a meal. I should have gone to church with DH this morning (he gets to light the candles!) but I've stayed at home to catch up with sleep after a rough night. We're going into Birmingham this afternoon for a meal and then to Symphony Hall to see/hear Nigel Kennedy, so I don't want to be coughing through the concert. Will dose myself with Fishermen's Friends and hope we're sitting near the doors in case I need to make a hasty exit.

My flying for today has consisted of emptying the DW. DH made breakfast as usual, and we've got leftover soup for lunch :)

    See you all later x

    Morning all.
    RIP sir terry wogan

Ditto that - and 2 days after Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart's funeral. I am such a Radio 2 addict...was just telling my mum, yesterday, that I have listened to 'Junior Choice' on Christmas Day the last few years (not least because I don't cook and we don't eat until 4pm and that's elsewhere)

    ah well

(Did I ever tell you I won on 'Popmaster' when DD was a toddler?)

Decluttering DD back to Uni shortly.

My BiL listed a (large and heavy) 'collect' item on e bay. Accepted an offer on Monday but buyer has messed about. Now wants to 'pay by paypal and send a "colleague" to collect' I have told him to refuse and report for non-payment. Buyer now wriggling like a fish on a hook and bil 'worrying'!

  • Valli junior choice is a bit of a Christmas tradition here as well.
Respect on the pop master win, we always try to play along at home but have never rung in

It's now raining here so change of plan. No gardening. Dog walk will have to wait as will their baths and then hoovering/sweeping/mopping through.

Will get that chicken in the oven (forgot earlier) and then take inspiration from this list as to be honest I CBA.

Hugs and orders to rest for CY

Mr N and BIL counting birds. I'm intermittently joining in from the study and the kitchen so we don't miss any.

My niece has messaged on FB that her son is doing well and has managed a smile or two. Tremendous relief, as the location of his tumour meant that the op could cause him to lose some sight. I'm presuming that he smiled in response to seeing her.
