I have been really bad this week...


Not much flying done for me, as we say though next week is a new week! I have been doing overtime in work, so not had much time for things at home. Although I did get the OH to pull out the oven today so I could get at all of the things that have fallen behind there over the months (more like years!).


I promise to be better next week

Been a bit stressed this week as we have put down a deposit on a garage to go at the end of the garden...it's very large to fit car and contents of 2 crappy sheds and also some space for hubby to do his new hobby/possible small business. So far he has made a bird table and 2 garden planters but he is limited by weather and crap tools atm.

Flying wise house looks ok but deep cleaning jobs needed soon

Couple of cm's of snow but we are still planning a run.

Just waiting for the replacement fridge shelf to be delivered (from the last mishap run.

DH has ordered new turntable for the microwave (due Tuesday - not sure what I'll do until then) and I have to go into town to get a new non-stick pan (old one is currently very stuck - with burnt on red cabbage and redcurrant jelly. 2 lots of vinegar and bicarb haven't shifted it and it was old anyway)

Morning everyone.

Just spent ages catching up thread when I should have sorting out the uber dump that is my house. Need a kick up the bum please if anyone can oblige.

I just have no energy. I have lit the fire, that's about it. Brought some logs in. Breakfast things still on table. Kids still in pj's. OH out seeing client which just makes me feel guilty about being such a lazy bones.

OH was most distressed .. Apparently that was one of the things I should be cross about but aren't.. I think it shows great imagination and they were playing so nicely.. Why would I be cross?!

I didn't even tell this morning when they spilled nail polish all over the stair carpet (the carpet needs replacing anyway really!) .. Yelling doesn't make it disappear and it was my fault for leaving temptation in their way I guess.. It was Dot and she is hardly known for her good behaviour and ability to not meddle in everything!

I just think, well, no one was hurt.. Nothing broken.. Maybe I should try to be a bit cross.. But they are cute!

Cuppa had in bed.. OH got up with pests and I slobbed about in bed..

Ooh pixie had covered her Elsa dress in nail polish too.. Oh well, damaging their own stuff is their own fault...

Oooooh..! Sun shine... Last bits of washing to be done and get out!! Incentive to get out of bed!!

Still waiting for OH to clear the front room! 2 days and counting!!

Having an easy day so far here, which is a welcome change. I've cooked a nice full English breakfast for us all and DSS helped with the washing up, bless him Just sold one of the cars to a lovely couple from Leamington Spa, so once DVLA send us the new V5C without our private plate details, we can let them have it. Sad to see it go as its a beautiful car, but the money will be put to good use flood-proofing the house. Feeling much better today than over the past week or so. Maybe AF had something to do with that...
