Just had a flurry of activity - had to bring washing in so popped it on radiators, emptied DW and put brekki things in, moved some abandoned toys, made a little pile of DS gifts and now I'm attempting to sip a cup of tea...

Party bags still not here. Sort of hoping they don't arrive. I suppose they'll keep for another time.

Mouth still bleeding a bit :( cuppa lovely though...

  • Is it just me or does anyone else vacuum by sitting on the floor and scrubbing with the hose but no attachments? I have very long hair and it seems to weave itself into the carpet, also OH socks shed little black fluff add the dust and a very very old carpet and the job is almost unmanageable for me. Back is aching so taking a break, will get back to it in 5 mins or so when the washing mc finishes so can put the next lot on and this lot on the line. Only half the room done as the other half is covered with misc stuff to be sorted. Still can't see tops though have moved lots of paper into recycling. Have also given bathroom once over and vacuumed study (again only the bits I can see.)

Oh me too! I get incredibly anxious sometimes and mentally beat myself up and make myself feel worthless. I used to hate myself - I don't love myself but think I may like myself a little bit now. I've had it explained to me that our brain feeds off all the negative stuff we put in there so we need to try to put good stuff in instead .... easier said than done sometimes but baby steps! Gotta love CBT.
(((HUG))) I still battle with self-loathing. Trouble is, if I hate me, how can I accept anyone else liking me?

LW your visitors are just gorgeous - and I'm sending you (((hugs))) too.

    Pigpen bet you look stunning!

Bossy how's your poor mouth now?

Fab lesson at Agility; Whiz did me proud - 7 jumps and through the tunnel with only 1 mistake. Love him. Just washed up and cleaned the kitchen sink and Z is now upstairs getting ready for Scouts (ie putting on make up *sigh*). Teenagers eh.
