Hello ladies
I had a very productive day off yesterday on my day off work. Loads of washing done and I washed every inch of my utility room as the cat is using it as a toilet. I can still smell it though! I have destroyed my mop after pulling out the washing machine and tumble drier. (It was gross!).
I need some help and suggestions for a new mop please ladies?
I don't like the flat sponge versions. What do you use and rate please?0 -

Oooh, that sent a shiver up my spine! Getting your eye in are you?
Washed up tea dishes, fed the dogs, hung up the wet clothes on the airer, had a lovely shower and now sat in my cosy comfy PJs and about to do some more knitting - may finish the hat by the weekend at this rate.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Hi all,
Everyone gone home and kiddies in bed now. Just taken some paracetamol
Was supposed to finish work at noon, but my laptop had a dicky-fit and lost 2 pages of work  I could have cried! And the party bags never arrived. But mum showed up early, told me to go back to my desk and she organised the kitchen and food etc.
Other grandparents arrived too, and helped with a school run of 6 little ducklings...
Party went great, boys just played for an hour before tea - mostly with remote control cars in the conservatory. Also managed to get a short video clip of them all doing "just dance" gangnam style which was hilarious. Silly games involving eggs, spoons, Velcro darts and a tub of m&m's caused much excitement and we had live-action balloon pop (they had sweeties inside). The boys used DS toy bin wagon to clean up all the burst balloons :A
So it all went well. They all had fun, then they all went home :T
Phew!
And do you know, it's not so messy here
Dentist tomorrow. Extraction:eek:Bossymoo

Aw Mumof2 your doggies are gorgeous. I have a terrier too. My boy is a combination of Parsons Terrier and something else. He has got bags of personality and attitude and drives us batty at times but we all love him to bits.
Glad the party went well Bossy. Hope you are feeling OK. Our bedroom has been dusted and hoovered, bed changed and sheets hung out to blow on the line. Made chilli and jackets for tea followed by jammy sponge and custard. Been to my gym class and sitting chilling now. DS1 is making me one of his mocha coffee specials. Considering how badly I slept last night I am not sure that caffeine is a good idea but I am not saying no.
Looks like I am going to have my nightly battle of getting DS2 off the playstation and ready for bed! Hey ho.0 -
Mumof2- lovely picture of the dogs. I will hw gave a picture in my head when you talk about them.
Bossy- that sounds like an amazing party!
Not as much done as I hoped. I was shattered after school run so we did homework. Practiced ridiculously hard spellings and times tables and then I sat with the boys for half an hour. I did dinner and then chilled with OH. Never mind it willall get done another day! Lol!
