    Most kitchen appliances are standard measurements .. with only minor variations.. my 12kg WM is exactly the same size as the 5kg one OHs mother has.

    Off to go do a laundry shuffle again.. I need my kitchen back.


    I have 3/4 of an inner ear to knit too.. laundry then knitting before nursery run.

    work surfaces and appliances and cupboards wiped..

    cloths are gross.. they can go in the next wash load
    Sponges binned.

    cuppa made.

    Sky watching at the moment.. it looks like it might rain on my drying washing! rude!

    I want to spend the weekend sorting the girls room.. its still rather full of all the stuff I threw in there at Christmas. Depending how I feel this afternoon I might make a start on that this afternoon I think.

    phew!! it is now lashing it down.. thankfully the washing is almost dry!! And now I have to go out in the lashing rain to collect Dot from nursery! :(

    I'm kicking DS3 out of bed to watch Pixie so I don't have to take her out.. she hates the rain cover

    Washing on line another lot in the machine. I've ventured into room of doom.....in this house the loft room of 22yo ds. OMG there is enough penicillin growing to start a pharmacy. Have brought down washing and left large notes as to which shxt goes into which recycling bag. He should be home in a couple of hours and I want it done before I leave at 5. He will be furious and apologetic by turns, I don't care. Feeling sick.

    Sorry not to have posted much this week - my desktop PC has been in for another health check (noisy fan), the netbook needs virus protection, and I find it hard to type quickly on my k1ndl€. Hoping I can collect the PC this afternoon.

    Today I have
    - cleaned all the windows except in the DR, where I need to move the table first
    - cleaned bathroom and ensuite
    - tidied and dusted every room
    - done WM x2 of 4 so far
    - had my hair cut short again, so I look like my DD rather than my mother :rotfl:
    - wrapped DH's birthday presents from me, DD and DS 2
    - written my shopping list
    - managed to click one lens of my specs out of the frame while polishing them, so now I've got to venture into town too.

    Thinking of CY and hoping all went well yesterday.
    Also sending good wishes and positives to Narc0's nephew.

    1x TD
    Dinner prepped and in the oven.. will need about 20 minutes to cook but I have just spent an hour prepping it! Potato and bacon bake.. will do carrots and cabbage with it.

    I've left no mess in the kitchen, despite making loads! and then I cleaned up OHs mess from making egg sandwiches!! Why do they just leave it strewn everywhere? 4 empty jars, a dish of egg mayo a slimy knife and a plate and crumbs everywhere!!! I'm sure there is no need!
