Locked out of my room with a Securfast lock

When we moved in two years ago one of the rooms had a Securefast lock on it. We don't know the combination, and have no way to contact the previous owner.

Last week someone knocked the snib off and pulled the door closed, so now we can't get in.

Is there any way to get into this? Do we need to destroy and replace the door?

What would you do?

Just a thought. Ask a locksmith.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

No idea now, but those are very easy to change the combination on when you had access.
Personally I would take a hammer to the turn handle. Then work from there to remove the lock/access the lock.
  • Could you knock the pins out of the hinges?

I'd "card" it with a sheet of Mica, but then I'm a hobbiest (not a criminal).

Also look for signs of wear on the buttons, but this sort don't normally suffer it.

Worse case, chisel the release handle off, then drill.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Yes - I know. I've always meant to change the code but never got around to it. My fault!

Thanks! I never thought of that.

I'll try to do that and see how I get on. That would avoid any damage to the door if it works

From the pics, they don't look like hinges with pins? If they don't another option seeing as they're exposed would be take a grinder to the knuckle of the hinge, won't take much to cut them and same end result.

That type lock each digit must be different and the order order of digits doesn't matter. There is a very limited number of combinations so should not take long to find. Just use c first (clear) each try. z is often the last digit.
