So, dominoman. Did you get in?

Not yet no. The hinge doesn't have a visible pin so that option is out.

I think I'm just going to take an angle grinder to the lock, but I need to buy a thin 1mm blade first.

I take it none of the suggested numbers worked?

Have you tried running through the 4- and 5- character combinations? It wouldn't take long.

No - I haven't tried that yet, but I will work through the combos before I take the big grinder out of the garage.

Luckily there's nothing in the room I need at the moment

Have one of these but mines ends with Y
    Example c1234y

Sequence of numbers not important can be done if enough time.

These can be opened sometimes my knocking thin bladed scraper/ knife in between door striker plate and lock?

Or small drill hole in wood middle behind striker plate and push over latch with screwdriver

there are 1000's of possible combinations with a 13 button lock

Actually not so many when you consider, each digit must be different to all others and the order of digits does not matter.

eg if 1234 is set 4312 etc will open it.

I'd start by going for where (for want of the correct terms) the bolty bit enters the door frame. If you can loop a thread behind it and pull, you may be surprised how easily it yields - no need for angle grinders that way

If you don't want to spend a tenner then two thin screwdrivers between the door and the frame and push the bolt back.

    Woohoo! I got in!

I looked very carefully at the buttons and could see the areas around some was cleaner than others.

In the end it was C123XZ! I got it on the second attempt.

Thanks so much for all the help. Warehouse you have eagle eyes! Even now I can't see it from that photo.
