Presumably if you are on e.on v19, and if the MSE Collective switch is e.on again, you cannot switch to that instantly through your online account, but have to go through the CEC switch process, taking a few weeks, as if you were changing supplier?
In other words, the Collective tariffs won't show up in your online e.on switching options, as they are only available to CEC members?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I guess also important, I presume you won't get charged an exit fee since your not changing supplier, only the tariff"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Hi macman
I've no idea if we're involved in the next round of Collective Tariffs but, based on the last lot, I agree, customers will need to apply for these products via the organisation offering them. Suppliers aren't allowed to become involved until the switch has gone through. This includes no advertising or promotions so, you're right, if we were to be involved, they certainly wouldn't appear on our website.
Each offer differs but, broadly speaking, with those we were involved with towards the end of last year, product switches hit accounts within round about 14 working days. They we're, though, back dated to the date we received the application from the organising party. I'm speaking for E.ON, though, and can't comment on the experiences of other suppliers.
Changes of supplier were different and followed standard industry procedures. Although applications still needed to be made through the organising party.
As I say, each offer tends to be different and the upcoming ones could have their own individual characteristics so probably not good that I speculate. Sorry to be vague macman but hope it's of interest.

Spot on brewerdave. As in my reply to macman (post 25), customers switching between different E.ON products to an E.ON Collective last year usually saw their online accounts update within about 14 working days. Although, I did know there were a few delays with the uSwitch Fixed 1 Year Collective (October 15) and 3 weeks wasn't uncommon. As above, tariff switches would've been back dated to when the application was received from uSwitch.

That's right csgohan4. Exit fees don't apply to customers going from one E.ON tariff to another. This includes any of the Collectives we were involved with last year.

Since you are not switching supplier in these circumstances, I would not expect Quidco or TCB to pay out for such a switch.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I am on eon v 19 fixed for 1 year, If eon were to win the collective switch with MSE, I understand I could switch tariffs by going through MSE as it has been said you can not go direct to eon.
However am I correct in thinking as in post above I would not qualify for the cashback from MSE ( if there is one) as I would not be changing supplier,0 -
@forever21
MSE will pay cash back , I got it when switching from E.on to MSE Collective September 15 which was with E.on0 -

That's right FOREVER21. As above (post 25), applications for Collective Tariffs need to go through the organising party. Also, just to confirm, there are no exit fees for changing from one E.ON tariff to another. These apply if changing supplier and then only before the renewal window (open 49 calendar days before the tariff ends until 20 days after).
As gsmlnx says, cashback is sorted by the organising party too.
Hope this helps.
