I’ve had a lovely day today. Went to see ds this morning. We helped him do a repair to his fence which badly needs replacing but he has been waiting for some repairs to his house via insurance companies so it’s not worth paying out until he knows what’s happening. I’ve never seen a fence quite like it - tied up with bits of string and wire.
We FaceTimed littlest 2 year old gdd who was in ‘pretend mode’ looking for mummy owl, dipping a ribbon into mummy owl food and feeding mummy owl.
We went for a walk on a sculpture trail about 45 minutes away and saw a carving of an owl in a bench - sheer coincidence - sent it to gdd and bless, she’s convinced her mummy owl has flown to see Grandma:rotfl: The walk was lovely not too long and a part of the world I’ve never visited before. There was a converted mill nearby with a farm shop and restaurant and micro brewery. Had a lovely lunch then went back to ds and watched a film. A lovely dayJanuary spends - £587.580 -

Not much to report here 2 NSDs so far this week.
I’m so tired as I’m waking up about 3 am and that’s it for the night. Lying resting but not sleeping - no idea what’s got into me recently, think it’s the hospital looming even though I’m not actively thinking of it.January spends - £587.580 -

Your weekend sounded lovely milann.
It is probably the thought of the hospital that's playing at the back of your mind. I hope you've finally managed to get some quality sleep. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I went to the hospital on Thursday and saw the anaesthestist who was lovely. I was pleased he’s dealt with patients with a condition I have and knew what he was talking about. He actually confirmed that some thoughts I’d had about previous serious bouts of ill health are all connected because of this condition. Anyway the outcome is he doesn’t want to give me an anaesthetic as he considers it too risky because the op could be several hours long but will use a nerve block and sedation. I am a little concerned as I don’t want to hear drilling and sawing , he suggested taking music and headphones to counteract this but if I’m really not happy about it I can take the risk. But I need to follow his advice as I didn’t want to risk more bleeds - spinal or otherwise. They say I might be out the same day depending on the swelling.
I know my ds has fancy headphones he won in a competition so I’ll borrow those along with an electric devise of some sort to play said music...:rotfl::rotfl: don’t think they’ll stop the op whilst I put a new cd in my CD player - I’m a dinosaur where music playing is concerned - I usually just listen to the radio :rotfl:
My friend took me and we went to seaside not too far away afterwards and had a lovely walk by the sea and dinner out whilst I got my thoughts together. It was too late to get back to school in time and I needed to order my thoughts:o
We celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday as I hate going’s out anywhere on Mother’s Day it’s far too busy. We went to a National Trust place a couple of hours drive away and ate out at a Thai buffet we went to a few weeks ago. The bonus was the sun was shining and it was lovely and warm. Then dd facetimed with the girls and we had a long chat which was great.January spends - £587.580 -
