Where I live and the next town to us are quite often used for filming. Currently on the tv is a drama that is getting such bad reviews ( it is bad believe me), but we are all around here watching it just so we can go” (look there’s the pub, church or ice cream shop). Xx

We walked into Bristol - an interesting walk. We ate at a market well know for its street food……it was amazing. Had a lovely afternoon looking around and having a couple of drinks on the waterfront generally ‘people watching’  we walked back to the van and chilled and then out to the pub close to the site which was very pretty. Then repeated the following day 😁😁👍🥂 I did have to pace myself more than previously and needed to rest often….but it didn’t stop us doing too much…..we just did things as a more gentle pace.

We were due home on Friday but were having such a lovely time we decided to phone a relative of mine that lives in Bath….we found a campsite a couple of miles away. Anyway said relatives  weredelighted we’d phoned as I was VERY close when we were younger - we still keep in touch. There was no way we would get away with staying on the campsite but they insisted we stayed with them instead. They gave us details of the parking permit and we parked outside their home whilst they were at work. We walked down a very steep hill or even could be a cliff. The view down onto Bath was just WOW….the photo only captured a little bit of it and didn’t do anywhere near justice.
We had never visited Bath before so took the tour buses around. It was well worth the money and very entertaining. A couple of cafes were visited as it was a tad chilly and hot tea was very much needed. We walked back up said cliff to see relatives…..who had ordered taxis and booked a very fancy restaurant….their treat…..no street food last night 😋 Then we finished  the evening back at their’s reminiscing with fizz and beer before falling in bed exhausted. We spent the morning with them and headed home.
    I spent £30 ( Dh spent more 😉)
