Beanie I’m still very much undecided about work. Some days I think I can do it some days I’m shattered and don’t think I can do it, plus I’m having a couple of issues I’m not sure about dealing with away from home. I don’t think they’ll deem me ready for retirement through ill health as I believe it quite rigorous in its expectation . My work pension isn’t brilliant and if I work until my retirement I’ll get a full pension. I’d feel a lot happier if the virus wasn’t around in schools. I’ve got another 4 weeks on this sick note. I’ve got to have another meeting with occy health and HR sometime in February. It’ll be what it will be. I will make it work whatever happens........I’m happy at home and can amuse myself quite well....but quite enjoy my work too....it’s just whether I can manage it and I won’t know that until I try it.....I can try and if I can’t manage it stay off again.....
SA I wish I’d have had a job where you had to dress for the occasion. At work we have to be presentable - no jeans.....but we are often covered in snot’n’allsorts.....paint, glue, glitter - you name it we get covered in it😱😂😂 so it’s not worth wearing anything decent. My clothes still fit me but this stoma is a lot higher than the last one I had. Most of my trousers cut across it and it is uncomfortable and stops it functioning as it should....a lot of my tops don’t hide it. So I’m having to have to find clothes to disguise it the best I can....it’s a bit of a nightmare. I’ve been living between a couple of outfits at home.  I’ve decided on cheap high waited leggings. I’d played with the idea of trying maternity jeans with a high waist but haven’t bottled the nerve to try them yet 😱😱 I’m trying to find long line loose or flared tops. Not a style I usually go for and I’m not sure it’s me......but it’ll have to be me from now on 😏 It is what it is 🙄

I don’t believe it. Friend who is decorating and dh went to drop the radiator to wallpaper behind it. I heard water running so went in the kitchen to see a waterfall from the new light in my new kitchen..........think a pipe has burst between the floor and ceiling 😱😱😱😱

I take back all I said about the builders son who turned up to do the plumbing and plastering when he fancied. I phoned the builder who did all the work on the kitchen  and his son was here within the hour. He is trying to find out where the water is coming from. I think dh yanked the radiator too hard and it’s burst a pipe. Luckily there’s not too much damage to the kitchen. I’m just glad I was in that room and heard it straight away. Just a matter of finding out exactly where the water is coming from 😱😱 We won’t be dropping any more radiators but will be painting behind them from now on. On a plus the 2 drops of paper decorator has put on is lovely 😀😀

Just after we had the new central heating Mr SA put a couple of nails in a creaky floorboard in the hall. We started to smell gas not long after and got the plumber back out. Mr SA had hammered the nails through a gas pipe 😱 Thankfully the plumber fixed it for free.

Amid all the chaos of leaky ceilings I had a phone call saying my brother is back in hospital with another infection. I’ve just spoken to him and he sounds better than he was last time. They just don’t know what keeps causing the infections 😏😏😏
Ever had one of those days when you wish you’d stayed in bed 😂😂😂
