I like porridge as long as it’s not every day....but I don’t like anything everyday. What’s that saying ‘variety is the spice of life’   But I just can’t bring myself to try overnight oats. It’s the thought of raw oats....I imagine them chalky.....yet lots of people at SlimmingWorld swear by them. I’m quite partial to chia seeds soaked overnight with yoghurt, raspberries a teaspoon of maple syrup and cocao powder. I’ve never tried the Henderson’s Relish but I have heard of it, there’s a gentleman’s relish too, which I believe is similar.
I love a trip over the Woodhead Pass to Sheffield. We used to just go for a ride pretty regularly through the Peak District for a mooch around Meadowhall and tea out. That seems a lifetime ago now, since we were able to do those things we just took for granted. I think we did it this time last year. When my dd was a teenager The Sweater Shop was all the rage. To begin with the only one around here was in Sheffield and we often got the train which is just over an hour from me - a lovely ride through beautiful countryside - she thought she was the bees knees with her sweater shop jumper....cost me a fortune 😂😂 But it was always a lovely girlie day 😃
I've just been watching the news where a couple of girls went for a distanced walk in Derbyshire - 5 miles from where they live - they were fined. I wouldn’t class 5 miles a long was from home 😳 it’s quite scary 😳😳
I even like to see the squirrels in the garden but do object when they pinch my bulbs and the food from the bird table....hence the Worcester sauce around the base....I’m not even sure if it worked 😂😂
So tomorrow is the day I try zoom for SW....could be interesting or could be a disaster 😂😂😳😂

I saw that about the girls in Derbyshire. To be honest if you have to drive there you shouldn’t be going right now.  I like overnight oats with Skyr yoghurt and frozen berries, it’s really nice honestly, not chalky. I remember The Sweater Shop, my kids had a jumper from there back in the day 😆 Didn’t it have something to do with the snooker player Steve Davies?

So I did zoom this morning for SW. I had a slight meltdown as it was being set up. Dh sorted it all for me and I managed to loose it all 😱😱😱 I was very stressed for the first 10 minutes of the meeting but then settled down. It was lovely to see my SW friends again. I lost 2 lb but when I logged my weight into the SW app it told me I’d lost 10lb 😂😂😂 the app kept my records from when I last was on there 😂😂...that’ll do for me 👍👍
We’ve just been out for a walk around the local park and ponds....called ‘reservoirs’ locally, as they used to serve a bleach factory which closed in the 1980’s but the ponds were revamped for leisure purposes. It was beautifully sunny and not icy. It felt good to be out but I’m tired now. I really need to walk more regularly to build my strength. As I finished the walk I could feel my leg tremouring again 🙄 When I think back I used to do that walk at least twice a day when I took the children to school....3 times when I had 1 at school and 1 at nursery....but I was  nearly 40 years younger then 😱😱
