Get you with a drinks fridge Mrs posh 😆 Seriously though sounds like a plan 👍 Mr T had bags of parsnips reduced to 5p. I have a love hate relationship with them. Currently not that keen. I was tempted though 😆

We went for a walk today with ds which was lovely. Lol we posed in a snowy field as if we were having a snowball fight and sent the pictures to dd to show gdd - she was delighted as she couldn’t understand why I didn’t just meet my ds for a snowball fight when I’d told dd it had been too snowy and icy to go for a walk 😂😂
Half way around our walk we’d had a phone call from dh niece telling him his sister has COVID. Apparently she is quite poorly with it but still at home. His niece is dropping things off for her as she lives alone. When we got home he had a call from track and trace telling him to isolate until 30th December 😳🤔😳 The lady realised suddenly that was a couple of days ago 🙄😳😳😳 and told him it was ok as if he wasn’t showing symptoms by now he’d be ok...no need to get tested.....(he dropped a present at his sisters a couple of weeks ago). Surely she should have checked her notes before making a phone call.....no wonder we loose confidence with the system 🙄😏
Anyway I’m tired after my walk - I used to do this walk along the river and back through some parkland regularly but haven’t done as long a walk since September. I’d put a piece of beef (on offer at Morrison’s a while ago 👍) leeks onions, carrots and can of beer in the slow cooker we’d had bought us for Christmas- red to match my new kettle and toaster and we had that with roasties and stir fry cabbage- it was delicious- just melted in your mouth 👍 Ds has taken some and there’s enough left for tomorrow. Bonus 👍

  • What a farce from Track and Trace , sounds like they are days behind. Hope your SIL gets better soon.
Your food sounded lovely and some leftover a definite winner .
We tried for NT places this weekend all booked up. Have decided to stay local and walk to a park tomorrow with the GKs , easier all round.
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.
