Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

Got to admit I’m not a horsey person whatsoever. I’ve never been on one and have no desire to do so. One end has teeth the other end poops...and the middle bit is far too high for my liking. I can appreciate the beauty of them especially the chestnut coloured ones....and think they have beautiful eyes and I enjoyed patting and stroking the horse when I visited....But that’s it.....suppose I’m a real townie.
Another lazy day here. I’ve been doing a bit of knitting but had to stop as my arm is aching.Dh bought a sound bar for the tv just before Christmas. I honestly can’t hear any difference but it’s been driving me mad as the lips are out of sync. Dh has been blaming the tv shows. Anyway today I was watching a gardening programme and it was really annoying me. He turned the sound bar off and it was fine. Does anyone else have a sound bar and have this problem? We’re not sure if there’s a fault with it......
Leftover beef, homemade Yorkshire pudding with mash, cabbage and green beans for tea.Tomorrow I’m really going to get back on plan and get rid of at least a stone preferably a bit more. I’m phoning my old SW consultant to get a countdown and phone my weight in every week.I’ve got a consultation with occupational health tomorrow.....it’ll be what it’ll be.....January spends - £587.581 -

Hairy I suspect there won’t be any outcome tomorrow. A consultation with an independent doctor might be next I think. I assume that’s what the recommendation will be....providing they’re still doing that in T4. I’m not convinced they’ll let me take early retirement as it is hard to get but it’ll be what it’ll be.
I do feel a bit bad being off work just now. One of our SEND team has to isolate, my friend who I work closely with has had to have bowel surgery on New Years Day - I’m a tad worried about her and I really hope she doesn’t have the same op as I had as I’m not sure how she’ll cope....she is very squeamish and a really anxious being. She freaked out when she found out what I’d had done. There’s been no reply from her when I’ve messaged which is unusual, but it’s only a couple of days since she said she was having surgery though.... 2 other members of staff left just before Christmas. I’m not sure how they’ll staff the children who need 1-1😱😱
It’s 15 years tomorrow when I planned to take my mother in law shopping but ended up in intensive care with my first perforated bowel. I was in hospital 6 weeks...had 2 ops, blood transfusions, pneumonia, sepsis, MRSA. I was in and out of ICU and gave everyone a scare. They sent for the family as they didn’t think I’d pull through. As I was getting better I was more worried about my finances which were a total mess and dh didn’t know anything about it. I had my lightbulb moment in hospital and swore I’d get debt free without him knowing....it’s taken a while but I’ve done it 👏😄😄😄😄😄😄 I never knew the total debt as I was in total denial but it was over £20,000 nearer 25 at it’s worse.January spends - £587.581 -

Please don't worry about school as they will cope. You come first. What you've overcome is so amazing, healthwise and debtwise 👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.milann said:Hairy I suspect there won’t be any outcome tomorrow. Thanks Hairy. Even though I’ve improved lots I don’t think I could hack work just yet. I’m doing things at home but with a lot of rests. I can’t do that at school. Plus it doesn’t matter at home if my clothes get uncomfortable- I can just undo them or change into comfy pjs I can’t do that at school either. Likewise if I suddenly need to rush to the loo.......
Beanie....if I tell tales .....so do you 😂😂😂😂😂
It came over harsh when I said I didn’t want dh to know I had a lot of debt. He would have helped me sort things. It was my stubborn pride that stopped me telling him. I’d messed up and wanted to sort it myself to feel the pride of getting myself out of my own mess. Dh has never been anything but supportive and would have helped me had he known.....January spends - £587.582 -
Had consultation with occupational health. Will do another consultation in about 6 weeks. So far so good with new healthy eating regime 👍
