It’s only a small side to the chair.....so I haven’t don’t that much. I’ve taken a before picture I started so will post a photo of the completed side. Then the back needs doing and the other side. After that chair no 2. Dh has order some leather paint as there are a few scratches in the leather. Hopefully they’ll be like new chairs for under £15 for the pair 😄😄January spends - £587.582

We’ve not had snow forecast but it’s really coming down heavy and settling on top of puddles 😳😳 it shouldn’t stick for long though as the ground is way too wet. Crazy weather 😳😳January spends - £587.583

Well done on getting so much done 👍 It’s just wet and mild here ☂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It's going to be slushy outside. As you say crazy weather .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

The river near me is very high. They’ve opened the flood gates a couple of miles away so hopefully that’ll stop it getting too bad. There are 2 rivers merging to make the River Mersey in my local town centre. I’ve just seen a picture of one of the high banks of one of the smaller rivers that’s slid into the river taking trees and the side of a scrapyard with it. The scrapyard has been an eye sore for years.....hopefully somebody will do something about it now as the council have landscaped the opposite bank making it lovely.....then you looked over this eyesore.January spends - £587.582

We have had a landslide across the other side of the main road from me , they have recently cut lots of tress down . Makes you wonder if they should have done it.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

I echo the others in that you've been a really busy bee! Looking forward to seeing the pics of the chair. I'm pretty useless with DIY and decorating. I think it has something to do with my dad who did all of that when I was growing up and then my ex-husband and other two ex-partners used to do it all too! Now I rely on family for odd little jobs and tradesmen for everything else!😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Well the snow came from nowhere last night, it wasn’t forecast around here just on the high ground - and it stuck which i didn’t think it would as there was so much surface water and puddles everywhere. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it settle on puddles before. The river near me made it to National news.....the bridge they keep showing as Didsbury is about 3 miles from me and in the first lockdown we walked there and had an amazing ice cream about 100 yards from where they were standing doing the interviews. They were bugging me as they said that’s the highest level the river has ever been but I remember when I was at secondary school having to get off the bus and go home as the water was up over the road. That happens a couple of times. But they’ve built a lot of flood defences since then. And that bridge isn’t actually Didsbury - that’s about 1/2 mile further along the road but sounds posher than where it actually is 😂😂😂😂mmmmm....I suppose it could be the boundary. So my riverside walks won’t be happening for a while. The water park I often go to is part of the flood defences and has the sluice gates from the river and it opens up....it’s usually grassy but last night it was gushing through to the top of the gully when I saw it on the news. There is a lake and golf courses around there so there is plenty of space for it to go.The river is actually quite close to my house but it is down a valley and there’s a small park between us.....so if we flood I suspect Noah will have made another arc.Dh is just chatting to his U3A friends on zoom and they’ve had the police knocking on the doors telling them to stand by for evacuation and taking details of whether they are isolating etc. One of them lives about 100 yards from the very bad area and the police wanted to move her but she wouldn’t go as she is in a 1 st floor flat. I think the worse is over now though as the river is dropping. Lol what would we talk about if it wasn’t for the weather 😂😂😂 There endeth my weather forecast 😂😂
I’ve not spent any money since Saturday 👍
My top arrived from Sea Salt and I love it - really nice quality. Dh has promised to take me to the shop and buy another from Cornwall when we can travel again 🤞😂January spends - £587.581 -
