Exactly, had to put the feedback here as Lidl (very rare for retail) does not wish to collect feedback online on their own site.
And I'm quite right to post here the bad along with the good on Lidl. Most MSE feedback on Lidl is good and let's hope that on balance it stays that way.

Fair point. This thread isn't intended solely for positive experiences. Any store can have an off day. Lidl and Aldi are very good - but they're not perfect, any more than the rest are.

Aldi's specially selected £2.99 pizzas are gorgeous! Especially when the equivalent premium pizzas at the other supermarkets are £4-5!

On Thursday Aldi have, water fed pole window cleaners for £10

Has anyone bought one in the past ? Are they any good ?

    Update:
I've been surfing looking for reviews, can't find any but found a similar thing at the same price in Maplins.

Maplins one has a brush so maybe better to dry off.

  • Ooh I might have to go and get one of the window poles - thanks for sharing :)

I don't think that the Maplin one attaches to a hosepipe if thats important to you. :)

    New product-

Aldi Seeded Oatcakes 59p. These are stocked in the same box as the plain and black pepper oatcakes.

The seeds aren't particularly obvious, but they really improve the oatcakes, giving them a more interesting flavour, as well as making them lighter and crispier. Very nice.

Aldi have Wax Lyrical reed diffusers at just £2.99.

I bought a rose scented today and within a couple of hours the room was lightly scented by 'real' roses.

The other variety is H2O but I can't imagine what water would smell like.

I'll give these a go then. The Aldi pickle (recommended on another thread on the OS board) seems an ideal companion.

Just to let you know in lidl today, nearly all lollies/ ice cream lollies were half price. A lot of ice cream tubs also.

Just in case you want to stock up. I got pistachio and panacota ice creams for 82p.
