Just to let you know in lidl today, nearly all lollies/ ice cream lollies were half price. A lot of ice cream tubs also.

Just in case you want to stock up. I got pistachio and panacota ice creams for 82p.

Just as I thought Summer is officially over. ;)

Disappointed that the large jars of yummy cornichons have disappeared from my local Lidl store. All they have now is large jars of gherkins (same as Aldi) and small jars of little cocktail type cornichons at a much higher price per kg.:(

As the jars are heavy I tend to stock up so I'm not sure when this change happened.

Good to see own brand Lazy garlic, chilli and ginger for future use but this week it's cheaper to buy branded Very Lazy Garlic in Aldi or Asda (£1 for 200g).

Back to back taste test: Pomegranate Juice drink between Aldi & the branded "Pomegreat" product (from Morrisons).

The Aldi product at less than half the normal selling price of Pomegreat is actually better - it's fruitier and less watery, with a richer, smoother taste.

Westons Old Rosie £1.25 a bottle. Limited stocks in Aldi. Be rude not to buy a case of 8.

Just opened a pack of Pastinos from Aldi, they're delicious ! Baked pasta snack flavoured with sun dried tomato and basil. Would definitely buy again but think they're one of those special purchase thingys.
