Are they not opening tomorrow then?0

An Easter egg sold by Thorntons costs £15 and the identical egg is sold by Aldi for just £3 - huge difference!

Very restricted on what retail stores can open tomorrow.
Only stores more than 280 Sq metres are not allowed to open.
A Tesco express on average is around 200sq metres per store.
Tesco I understand ALL stores closed tomorrow but JS and Morrison petrol station stores open 9-6.
Scotland stores are as normal I believe."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

Random braindump. All my personal opinions only.
I like the Lidl whole & white tortilla/flatbreads. I like the concept of wholemeal ones, but the Tescos ones are IMHO a bit stiff. The Lidl ones are a good compromise, IMHO.
Recently Aldi pita breads seem to have changed their recipe, as they seem a bit puffier and nicer. Not so hard/flat as they used to be.
Lidl dark cooking chocolate seems quite nice, and isn't too bad for eating even. (Though, not as smooth as say Cadbury's Bournville.)
Lidl's roasted red pepper hummous is a bit odd. To me it hardly tastes like red peppers at all, it tastes pretty much like normal hummous. However, I think it has a nicer texture than Lidl's very cheap (63p large tub) regular hummous, so I've still been buying it.
Aldi's "French Fries" are pretty good oven cooked once I worked out the correct temperature and time to cook for. They come out just like I remember McDonald's fries being (haven't been to McD's since the 1990s and my memory isn't the best) and they seem similar in quality/result to McCains french fries. I haven't been impressed by many cheaper oven cooked fries however. Lidl used to have french fries which were very nice cooked in oil. Their current ones may be the same, but even though they give instructions for oven cooking they don't come out nice at all.
Like PhillGU350ED I typically find Aldi's fruit and vegetables very good. But, not perfect. I once had broccoli from them that was slightly 'gritty' even after being washed and cooked. And, their potatoes often require quite a bit of trimming to remove brown bits/bruises, which sometimes go well inside the potatoes. Their own brand red potatoes are IMHO very nice once trimmed, and often the packs have big potatoes in there which are very good as baking potatoes. They make nicely fluffy mashed potatoes too.
Lidl's packaged flavoured rice is OK for what it is. The mexican style tastes nice, if a bit 'instant food'. However, it suffers in comparison to the similarly priced Sainsbury's brand mexican rice packet which has whole beans in it. Sainsbury's has a better variety of flavours of packaged rice too.0 -
Lidl strawberry conserve is lovely, whole strawberries in a hardly set conserve.
Raspberry conserve is even better though probably not for kids. It is less sweet than the strawberry and lots of pips but the flavour is outstanding in my opinion.0 -

The factory is up North which was flooded over the winter, hence why Gingernuts have been almost extinct for the past few months in every supermarket!! They all get supplied by the same factory. I'm guessing Aldi are selling old stocks but other supermarkets are peed off because Aldi are only supermarket selling Gingernuts since Xmas!!
I assume the other biscuit/snacks are also made in same factory.0
