I avoid fruit & veg from Lidl completely since the melons I bought started to rot before they ripened, also their spuds & carrots turn quickly too.

Their frozen Steakhouse Fries 1.5kg / 99p are very good if a little "bitty".

Wow. There were tiddlers in my store so I stuck to the butternut squash. I wasn't complaining as I picked up the Christmas promotion with the voucher inside.

That's often said but how long since you tried. There have been occasions but since they started putting sell by dates clearly on the packaging most of the time it's fine.

That's surprising. Mine from Friday are still fine. If it's not too far I'd take it up with the store as I find their attitude to customers very good.
