I would urge you all to pay a visit to your local Lidls and stock up on their sandwiches, they have the most amazing bargain on currently where they are offering a massive 1p off each one, no honest, a whole penny LOL Get them before they're all gone

I got 8 packets of rolls free from lidl tonight, they were giving away loads of bread and rolls at the end of the night, they often do that in my local shop, got loads of free flowers the other night as well, they give the flowers away quite regularly.
My local lidl has also started doing a 30 per cent off section for tins and packets as well as chilled food.
Its brilliant.0 -
Lidl's Simply Sumptuous cereals are reallly nice, I like the mueslis and the Super Nutty Granola doesn't disappoint either:
It seems the current Aldi is moving to a bigger site in town...unfortunately even further away from me! But still on my route to London so not out of my way. Much better than having a new Big 4 in town.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Keep an eye on Lidl's broccoli which is still on weekly offer for one more day and over the next few days. Dig underneath the top trays.
In mine there was at least 5 trays where the buds had starting to bloom making it basically useless to eat. They should have been written off,The more I live, the more I learn.

Aldi have discontinued their Halloumi fries. Yes I know it's simple to make your own but theirs were lovely.0

I have received an email from Aldi. In case anybody is interested,
they are doing a deal for a Rothenberger Thermal Imaging Camera.
As the blurb online says:-
This feature-packed Rothenberger Thermal Imaging Camera uses heat to allow you to locate missing thermal insulation, pipe runs in the floors and walls, spills, draughts and much more. The high tech infrared piece of kit comes packed with features including automatic hot/cold marking and detection, a laser pointer, an integrated 5MP digital camera and video and sound recording functions to name a few! With accuracy to within 2°C or 2% of the displayed value, you can feel confident that with the help of this thermal camera, the job can be carried out efficiently, and with an extremely high attention to detail.
So if you want it, you can only buy it online.
The price. Only £899. :eek:The more I live, the more I learn.

I've been away from Aldi for a few weeks due to holidays...
Some product changes:-
- Falafel have changed: what used to be a choice between Morrocan or Mediterranean styles is now a single option of "Baked Beetroot". Bought some, not yet tried them.
- The small tins of flavoured tuna have still not reappeared, and in my branch all the tinned fish has been moved to a different place in the store (though this could be to do with the impending refurb).
- Only plain Wraps, and those look smaller to me.
- On the plus side, I wanted some of the effervescent Vitamin C tablets, and the excellent raspberry flavour are back. (I waited to get them from Aldi, because the branded ones - you know who you are - were £4 in another supermarket against 79p in Aldi).0 -

I don't need to spend the best part of a grand to know that I am coldValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Tried this on offer today, it's not horrible but neither does it taste amazing. It's not bitter or petrol-tasting, so I guess I'll get used to it by the time I've got to the end of the fourth jar. Either that or it will have cured me of my coffee habit
ETA: I'm onto my third cup now and I don't think I'll buy it again. I'm better off giving all four jars I bought away! A dud investment for me, but I'm sure someone will have it.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
