If you don't like shopping on a Sunday I'd advise you to stop doing it. :p
I'm sure it would save the stress of dodging crowds. Shopping seems to be the nation's favourite sport on a Sunday.

I don't deny it's handy, at the same time I prefer to zip round with a basket in quieter times myself.

Has anyone else noticed the change in Quixo beef gravy granules? They were really good but now a pale gloopy comparison of the former recipie. Perhaps it's just a glitch in a batch in my store? If not then it's back to the more expensive one unfortunately.

I noticed it weeks ago and mentioned it on this thread but no one replied. So assumed it was just me. As I am a bit cack handed and not a very good cook.

I bought another brand and now mix them together. The granules seemed a lot smaller.

The value Jaffa cakes have disappeared from Aldi...probably just as well! I'm sure they'll make a return after Christmas, if not before.

Must be just your store. As I almost picked some up this morning but decided not to.

Oh no, perhaps it is a new recipe going forward. May have to try blending too.
Just had our store refurbished too and it's going to be a treasure hunt finding things for a while as the layout is completely different.

Don't worry I think the time is ripe for Aldi to reconfigure where food is in the store again. They tend to do it every 2 to 3 years according to my local store staff.

Then again I have 2 stores in my town and they are set out differently. One is a company 'test store' so I tend to see what they are thinking before anywhere else.

Tends to confuse me when I decide to shop in either of these stores branches.:)

Is it due to the price increases on salmon? Not noted prices for this in Aldi but Mum said Asda's has gone up by 65p in past 6 weeks. This is about 17%

My friend got blocked in her car in Aldi as this store, there are several cars that park on hatched yellow lines right by the trolley area because the car park is too small. It's a common occurrence. The manager couldn't care less. These drivers should be fined and car insurance companies should not pay out if car is damaged

This Aldi is the nearest one from us. Drive less than 6 miles and there are four others, with bigger car parks - one is in a retail park. I never use that Aldi in question because of the parking.

    New products in Aldi...

    - Falafel - two varieties in the chiller cabinets.

    - Skyr - this has been popular at Lidl since it was introduced not that long ago. The Aldi version looks a little pricey - 49p for a small (150g?) pot.

    - Pesto - the small jar has decreased in price to 79p, with a change in recipe and packaging. A new enormous 99p jar has been introduced. Never has so much Pesto been sold for so little to so many...

    - US Style soda drinks (might be a short-term special buy). I have to say that I tried the Root Beer flavour and it's not that nice. Aldi are obviously keen on the 1L soft drinks for 30-40p as there are now 4 or 5 ranges.
