What a wonderfully positive post DIA!
I try to reflect in my MS ways when they become apparent - like when I shopped in Asda at the weekend instead of Aldi and my bill was over £80 for the week instead of £40-55. It made me instantly think 'what if I hadn't been an Aldi convert?'. I'd be at least £25 per week worse off, over £1,000 per month.
It's good to reflect, and also reminds you of how far you've come when you feel like life is wrapping you up.
I'm so envious of your YS items - i never seem to have as much luck with that oneCC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))
July debt total: £24,630.44 | New debt total: £18,316.34 | Total debt paid: £6,414.10 (26%)

Thanks for all the positive posts people. I appreciate them
Yay! My working week has begun. Cue, 2 days to use as I wish
The first thing I have done is pay an additional £290 towards my debt. So, a total of £1085.00 paid. :T
It was hard to do but if I don’t I will spend the additional amount poorly. I did last month
Today I paid for a round of drinks at work £20 and then I shopped for YS bargains but then I bought a bottle of red wine for £7 too.
I am glad I have paid down my debt. It makes sense to do so.
The next few days will be free fun. So, gym, swim, decluttering, menu planning and cooking.
So looking forward to waking up tomorrow and not having to go anywhere
I hope you had a good day readerIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Just 3 more payments of £1,166.00 and this will be over. I only have £250 in savings, so this plan rests on nothing serious going wrong that needs urgent attention before February.
Today I will be preparing a budget and meal planning and later going to a yoga class. I need a yoga mat but for now, rather than buy one I will be taking a towel to drape over theirs instead.
I am going to work to a weekly plan this month. Use cash. EXERCISE in the evenings. Have NSDs. Have lunches for work prepped so I don't waste money.
December will be mega tight but I am going to try and embrace it and live up to the name of my diary.
Wishing you all a lovely SundayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I cannot decide if the house turns into a tip and I start eating rubbish because my mood shifts downwards or if my mood shifts downwards and then the other stuff follows? Either way the result is the same and so is the solution. I have this evening begun tackling the piles and piles of dishes. One draining board full washed and waiting packing away…:o
Yesterday I was terrible, nothing achieved at all. Sloth like all day. Ate RUBBISH and did not make it to yoga.
I caught my reflection today and was not pleased. I did my eyebrows for £4, so slightly improved but wearing a jacket I previously put in the CS bag and took out again. I need to smarten up. Will be doing 1 thing a day (at least) to improve...
I am aiming for 2 days a week NSDs. These will be on exercise days:Tuesday and Wednesday
Today, still feeling sluggish but I had commitments so I got on with it. I can’t let other people down, although I have no problem letting myself down it seems… My private class was lovely. So far I’ve never not enjoyed teaching it
YS goodies picked up. I put back YS bargains that even when they were reduced did not seem to me to represent good value for money. Instead I thought about lunches for work as this is where I fall down. I have started to spend £10 a day on lunch and coffee twice a week. Insane! £80 a month! It is just disorganisation. I am on a tight budget due to my debt overpayment so overspending on lunches STOPS HERE.
