Happy getting rid of squirrels day.

Regarding the roofer it can be hard finding someone who is reliable and trustworthy. We have a trusted trader scheme run by the local council and age concern. Mum has used some of the listed folks a few times and they have been excellent. If they are dodgy they don't get in the book. It's just a thought and it's difficult to find someone you trust.

I hope you get things sorted soon.

Sorry to hear you're having to wipe out your savings on getting rid of those pesky squirrels, but you're right! At least you're in a position to do so without getting into more debt so i'd see that as a win! It may be worth seeing if the pest control guy has any recommendations of preventative methods you can use in the interim/ things you can do yourself to avoid the squirrels returning before you have the funds to appoint a roofer.

Definitely try to go on recommendation for these things - there's lots of websites like Trust a Trader etc that provide reviews and star ratings so that you can be comfortable you aren't appointing a cowboy.

Glad you're enjoying the exercise too! It seems to be helping and is a nice distraction, i feel. I do miss exercising, actually.

Thanks for all the support with the squirrels and recommendations/help about what to do about getting a roofer. So helpful :A

The squirrel eliminating man was here yesterday morning so the process has begun. He said he could not find a nest and usually you can smell them so there cannot be a big problem? I think they knew he was coming and stayed at a Travellodge for the night...They are smart. I put a radio up there to scare them. I swear they changed the channel in the night, had a party and changed it back in the morning.

Are the squirrels driving me insane? Maybe ;) I can still hear the pesky creatures scampering around but knowing their days are numbered helps me cope.

The squirrel crisis was upstaged by a darling niece being taken to intensive care yesterday. i was at the hospital until 10pm so no pedicure yesterday afternoon or treat coffee out. Anyway, I might not be on here for a few days as I want to be at the hospital until she is back on a general ward.

I will be back and debt busting in a few days

    Have a good weekend :)
