Thanks Beanielou
I've spent the day thinking about it. I've done some new calculations and actually the income is between £800 and £850 a month. If I could do 3 hours a day 7 days a week from home I think I'm going to do it. I can always stop if I find it too much but it feels doable as I sit here. I would hope to do it for 2 years until my debt has been cleared. Even if I did it for a year it would give me the income to do loads on the house and then I could get a lodger in when the house is in a decent state. Interview won't be until the second week in May, so I'm going to apply and leave it for the universe to decide

A much better day for me, less edgy which might be partly due to less coffee (just one coffee first thing today).
A WFH day so a good opportunity for a NSD.
I made an effort to eat well and had 10 portions of fruit and veg. Yup, 10I also drank water when usually I forget
I can tell my eating had got bad because I have been eating a bar of chocolate daily and crisps have come back on the menubut today none of either and it should be the same tomorrow as it will be a NSD.
I'm completing an application form for an additional job and I will hopefully finish it tomorrow even though the deadline isn't for another few weeks
Planning on a veggie stir fry on quinoa tomorrow with a cashew nut sauce. I have all the ingredients and some fruit, so tomorrow should be a NSD too
I've been reading other people's diaries today so I might be changing my diary format to reflect some of the good ideas I have seenWatch this space...
3 good things
Less than 2 weeks to pay day
Radio 4
Sheep's yogurt. I changed to cows because it's half the price but it upset my stomach so I changed back and I'm glad
Happy Tuesday

Hi DIA
I'm glad the universe is listening to you
56 hours sounds like a lot, but it does depend HOW it would work. I would be careful about trying to do some work every day - and I don't mean that to put you off, it's a lesson I've learnt over years of studying in addition to a full time job. One day at the weekend and three nights a week would allow you some free time - otherwise it can get so bonkers trying to fit things in that you spend more money on quick food etc.
I hope the universe gets it right, whichever way it turns out!

Hello DIA,
So much going on for you, and all sounding positive. You're also sounding much brighter too, which is lovely to hear.
Have you read the book "How I lived on a pound a day" by Kath Kelly? I couldn't live on anywhere close to that low amount, but I do read it every now and again as it's quite inspirational.
I completely agree with all of Rosa's comments above.

I wanted to make a cashew nut sauce but there was only a scrape left in the jar so I switched to red thai veggie curry and quinoa. I wanted toasted cashews to sprinkle on top along with fresh coriander but I had neither so toasted seeds and made a note to self to plant some coriander soon instead.
I’ve decided to make a red thai curry sauce every week, leave it in the fridge and just add veggies or fish or prawns when I need a meal. This is quick and nutritious.:)
I checked the veggies that are beautiful miniature veggies that I got reduced on Sunday and I noticed they are from Kenya! Flown all the way from Africa. I won’t be having them again even at a cheap price. That’s ridiculous!!!
I got some good news about the creative retreat I applied for in Scotland. There should be fourteen people but in fact there are five so even though I paid less to share a room (which I hate doing) I will get a room to myself. :T We will also get much more personal attention. I was worried that the cost of the taxi to the retreat might exceed my £10 budget but it seems three people have already booked the taxi so I’ll be sharing and that should be fine.I’m so looking forward to going…
This is the last time I am doing the 3 good things. I am going to change it to 'best bit of my day'
I will also do a '3 actions to take towards my goals' and a 'how did I do?' So there you are, change is afoot
3 good things
A late start tomorrow so I will get a swim in before I go into the office
Two NSDs in a row
I ate well again, lots of veggies, probably six portions. No chocolate or crisps just good stuff
Hope the sun shone on you today reader

Your creative retreat sounds lovely and it's great you've managed to keep costs down and get your own room. I went to a retreat in Scotland a while back and I fell in love with the place. It was near Inverness and I actually cried when I had to leave as it had been so special.
Good luck wtih your early swim tomorrow.
