Today was my interview for my proposal. Not only did they said yes but they wanted me to divide the material in two and create two courses.
This will really help with being on target for my DF date
Really pleased, but also a bit scared.
I know, I know. Maybe this is a part of myself I need to learn to manage. It’s a problem. Starting to wonder if I need help with this. Even when good things happen there’s a little voice inside me that says ‘okay so you’ve got this far doesn’t mean you can actually pull this off…’
I used to be so confident, not sure where that confidence went but I want it back.
Anyway, a good day for me and I hope it was a good day for you too.

Brilliant news. You're doing so well. The lecturing sounds a wonderful way of you getting the DF plans in place. I know what you mean about several new things arriving at once, and ones where it's you, rather than a group/team, at the 'front' so to speak..it can be overwhelming. Generally I find writing lists and getting sleep makes it all seem doable.

Awesome news on the lecturing front! You should be really proud of yourself

Thank you for the positive comments ladies
Brizzled, how right you are. On the evening of my interview I fell asleep exhausted and woke up from a deep sleep 4 hours later. I cleaned my teeth and went back to sleep for another 6 hours!
I feel so much better for having had that sleep
I will make a list of actions in my bullet journal to further decrease my stress and convince myself I have it under control and I do. Actually. See JoJo I am working on keeping my confidence high
I ordered my Kindle and my new creative industries boss is happy for that work to wait until next week
I canceled the handyman until later on in the month. He was fine and I needed a few days of no additional stress.
Now I have additional work I have been fantasising about dropping a days work to pursue my own creative project. If I come on here suggesting this is an option please remind me it isn’t. I STILL NEED TO WORK FULL TIME UNTIL NEXT YEAR.
I can however fantasise about taking 6 weeks unpaid leave to do a creative project this time next year. My annual leave will be used for creative projects until then too and that is just as well as I have no money for holidays abroad until I am debt free
I will be rejoining my gym tomorrow and fighting for a very good deal. It will still be expensive  but necessary as swimming and steaming etc keeps me on an even keel so I will budget to prioritise it
I am avoiding going to MnS for wine and crisps. I have decent food in and anyway it has just started to rain….
Last week it was Casualty and a gum infection.
This week? Casualty and no gum infection. Life is on the up
Happy Saturday everyone

You sound so much more positive, DIA! That last post was a lovely read :j
I will do my very best, as an avid reader of your diary, to dissuade you from dropping a day at work, taking on extra projects and being down on yourself. I'll also encourage the confidence at any given opportunity, or even when there is no opportunity!
Enjoy casualty, being smug in the knowledge that you have no pain and those poor characters, I'm sure, will have lots of it!
Speaking of avoidance - my eldest (only 4, might I add!) was banging on about having "Old MacDonalds" for lunch...I felt weak, I couldn't be bothered thinking of what to do for lunch, my youngest was needing a nap...and I was tempted. But instead, I suggested toast and pate with a fruit picnic to share and there were whoops of joy from the back of the car. PHEW! Dodged a bullet there. The wine and crisps from M&S...I'm not sure I'd have avoided that though!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))
