Yes beanielou only 10 months to go and I CAN THEN go down to 4 days. Something to look forward too. I'll keep plodding on until then :)

What a lovely post JoJo. Thank you for all the positivity :)
I love the story about McDonalds. Don't you love that this journey boosts your creativity? Anyone can say yes and throw money at the situation, but to come up with a plan that saves money and gets whoops of joy from the back of the car? Just great :)

Kitchen is a disgrace again but it can wait as I need to get out of the house. WFH for a few days now and feeling a little stir crazy

    Decluttered to charity shop

    Basket
    Top
    Bra
    Scarf
    Deep fat fryer basket
    Slippers

I realised I still had money in my purse and that is down to 4 NSDs this week. :)

I need to get out of the house today as there is sporadic sunshine between the rain. I also need the chemist, the health shop (I am starting on vitamin D) and some good quality chocolate. All essential items I am sure you will agree :)

I decided not to join the gym until I have my full kit so I am hunting for a swimsuit and trainers today too. Getting kitted out is another expensive part of joining a gym so I am doing it bit by bit.

My gum infection is winning again if it doesn’t get combated this week I will go to the GP for antibiotics :(

Had a chat with a friend who is now mortgage free. She is older than me and trying to hang on at work for another 2.5 years. We both agreed to work full time until Christmas and review what we do for 2018 over a glass of bubbles.

    Wishing you a lovely Sunday

    DIA x

Spent a fair bit on organic chicken. I spent £15 and the full cost would have been £24. Not a massive saving but a saving none the less.

I was quoted between £18 and £7.50 in the health shop for Vit D. I went to HnB and picked it up for £4 in They have a half price offer on.

I made soup today. Lentil, tomato, courgette and black eyed beans. Really very good.

I am going to start taking vits and supplements every morning with breakfast. That means starting a morning routine. My mother used to set the table for breakfast the night before and I think I’ll start to do the same. I’ll keep the breakfast small and simple except on Sundays when I’ll do a cooked breakfast. Angelpye had a great Falubert quote "Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work." Planning on living by that much more…:)

Some nice yogi tea purchased today. Black tea interferes with iron absorption so I’m avoiding it until my blood improves.

I bought a book today. A hardback I wanted. I don’t think it has been read at all. The book cover price was £18.99 and I paid £3. I need to be careful with clutter but I was pleased with it. :)

Off to have a bowl of soup.

Today has been full of little pleasures. A rainbow. Using my Nero stamp card for a free coffee. Finding a book I wanted. Lovely new tea. Good soup. An uplifting chat with a friend :)

    Happy Sunday

    Evening DIA.

First of all, many congratulations and a massive well done on the tutoring work. So pleased for you :T:T:T They must have confidence in you so please try to remember that. They want you to do 2 courses, not one. That says a lot. :)

And only 10 months (or less) until you're debt free! You're nearly there! That's a huge deal. You had your LBM, you set your mind to paying off debt, and you are doing it :T:T

Ah how lovely to plan next year and doing less work work but more creative work. That will be a huge reward for becoming debt free.

Have a lovely week, hope the gums settle down  x

  • Hi DIA

I haven't been around much with one thing or another but I just wanted to say a massive congratulations on all that you have achieved so far this year.

You might not think it sometimes but you have done so much in such a short space of time.

Believe me I totally understand when you mention having low days, you only have to look at the time I'm posting this. But we will get there.

Tink, lovely to see you here but so sorry to hear you have been unwell. I haven’t been great either but I seem to bounce back in a few days or a week or so. I know that I was lots better when I could swim so I am looking to get back to my gym in the next week or so. Have you thought about what might keep you feeling well Tink? Hoping that when you finally move into your mum’s house it will help. You will have support, your outgoings should be less and you can make a fresh start. It will be great!

I will be doing a 5 year plan good idea Tink. My BJ is nearly over, so in May I will start a new journal. This whole BJ has been one of the reasons I think I have made so much progress recently as I can see what I need to do. Everything is visible and measurable. I can't thank you enough. Bullet journalling has been such a BIG thing for me. I am also so much more organised and focused. LOVE IT :)

Hey JoJo I don’t need to ask if you had a nice weekend as tapas was involved and tapas makes you happy :)

Nice to see you here Orange Ena, thank you for the positivity. You always make me see myself differently when you post. I must stop my negativity because I am doing very well if I think of where I was this time last year :)

Thanks Rosa. I am really pleased about the second income work and amazed they are putting on 2 courses that I created. Combined with my additional tutoring over the Summer term I should be able to make my DF date as I can now deal with the shortfall. Now my panic has subsided I can see it has helped with renewing my confidence.

Hoping everyone has an excellent start to their week :)
