Morning all
Still not feeling the love - just an impending sense of dread and doom. I got to sleep not long after 11 last night, which is fab until we factor in that ds has been up since 5 after a nightmare... Ah well. It is hump day so should be easier here on in.
List for today:Check banking and PAD
Mark a set of books
Full day of teaching
Meeting before and after school!
Do some exercise! This should help my mood a bit
Do some crochet
Sneakily nag dh to do something during the day today
Get the kids helping with housework
Read through my CBT stuff and try to prioritise myself
Think that will do for now.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Morning all
Thanks for the start Maria
Well done on paying off your business debt Bob - what are your plan going forward, or do't you know yet?
((Hugs)) CCL - take care
Grandma day today, and little GD will be here in a minute (so all hell will be let loose :rotfl:) and my list will necessarily be very modest today!
Heating on already - not MSE, but can't have it cold in here for the little one
Not planning on any spends
OH bought lots of bits back from the social thing he attended last night, which will do for lunch and delight GD :rotfl:
Cook turkey I got the other day for half price later, will have a meal from it tonight and portion up and freeze the rest
Portion up and freeze the spiced red cabbage I made yesterday (will keep out enough for dinner)
Bring in the quiche I made yesterday from the meat safe in the conservatory if it gets warm out there (it is at least as cold as the fridge at the moment ) I didn't have room in the fridge for it last night but once the turkey goes in, the fridge will be free-ish again
Entertain GD for free, must get ready in a minute
And fit in dog walks x 2 (OH will do the first one)
Any surveys, FPL etc (this will have to wait till this evening)
Right, better get prepared for dealing with the naughty baby / puppy combo. Will check back later
Hope everyone has a good day and beats the January gloom!0 -
Morning all, thanks for starting Maria
Bob - many congratulations on your final HMRC payment! :T
CCL - hope you feel perkier soon
The sun is actually shining here today. What a pity I'm sat at work with my coat on :rotfl:
Finally a NSD for me today
All meals from stores and I've brought a packed lunch to work. OH didn't do his batch cooking the other day so he's doing it today instead
2 hours overtime at work
Read Martin's email at lunchtime and do some surveys if possible
Snuffled some free chocolate from the staffroom
FPL to check
Banking checked
MUST do some ironing tonight - it really is my nemesis!

Good morning all
Been a busy day at work so far today however only working until 6 then a little 8-12 shift tomorrow so that feels like nothing!
Feeling slightly queesy this morning, I've been cutting down the alcohol so instead of beer I bought myself some alcohol free beer instead at the weekend and had a couple of bottles last night, I've read a few places that some people can be allergic to the ingredients, don't know whether it's the placebo effect or genuine!
On the DFW front very little again today, don't get paid until Friday unfortunately that's when I can start making some real progress.
I applied a couple of days ago for a 0% balance transfer deal so hopefully have a letter waiting for me when I go home for lunch.
Hope you all have a good day!

Morning All!
Today can't be a NSD for us as we've got baby group for £1, but apart from that it should be a cheap one.
I'm going to:Go through our online food order to make sure there's nothing unnecessary and trim where I can
Check online banking
Continue to declutter the house to make it easier to keep on top of
Check on ebay sales
Start February's meal plan
Use up the salad and cottage cheese that's beginning to look a bit past its best for lunch. Might make a jacket spud to go with it. Yum!
Figure out if I can transfer some old VHS onto the computer without paying a company to do it for me.
Go through the bottom of my wardrobe, which is full of 'too small' clothes from before I had DS2, to see if any now fit. I'm so bored of all my clothes either being too big or too small!
I think that's about it for me today.
