If we vote for Brexit what happens

No doubt gloomy Swiss Europhiles will throw toys out the pram and declare they are off to new shores in a hissy fit
Fact is that the Swiss people voted against free movement in a referendum and, unlike the UK, the Swiss government is constitutionally bound to implement it.
It will be interesting to see how it all turns out but the EU is also bound by its own rules to maintain and foster friendly relations with its neighbours and tearing up treaties would not be very friendly. The EU has got itself into a real bind and will probably end up fudging the issue as usual.0 -

Indeed;

The truth is in between. 100,000 sounds a big number, but it's below par:
Um, no. The truth is that 100,000 is a big number and is neither "nobody" or "crippling lows." But of course why let the facts get in the way of your fantasy story.Every generation blames the one before...

Guess what, 40,000 is a bloody big number as well. But by your reasoning December 2008 was hunky dory whereas it was the worst month of the crash.
Don't lump me in the ideas of a certain poster on here. I'm just pointing out that the market is sluggish for most, that's all.0 -
'Theresa May opens door to recommissioning of Royal Yacht Britannia'
My heart swells at the thought of Boris hoving into view on the fore deck as Britannia pulls into Zanzibar or Java, the hottest ticket in town, merchants clambering for a seat for talk of trade and tiffin before an evenings galavanting at the gin palace!
A very exciting time to be alive

Britain has voted to leave the EU.
Britain will negotiate the best leaving deal that is possible.
Britain then leaves.
Simples.
No referendum, no debate in Parliement. Just sign the document and leave. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Juncker in surprise climb down. Definite change of tune today.Brussels has approved Swiss plans to prioritise local people over foreigners for jobs in an agreement that could pave the way for a British deal on curbing migration.
EU chief Jean-Claude Juncker said Switzerland can introduce the rules restricting recruitment from abroad without being kicked out of the Single Market.
The European Commission president made the concession as he signalled he also wanted a ‘fair deal with Britain’ that recognises how the ‘continent owes a great deal’ to the country.
‘We are not at war with the UK, we are not looking for revenge, we are not enemies,’ he said during a visit to Zurich.
‘Our continent owes a great deal to Britain – you should not forget that despite all possible anger around recent referendums.
‘I would therefore like a fair deal with Britain that takes into account everything that has to be taken into account so that Europe can continue to thrive and evolve. But the rules are the same for everyone.’If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -
The whole 'Britannia is coming back' is simply bizarre and smacks of desperation by the Telegraph to get anything to fill the front page. They are obsessessed and appear to be running a campaign, rather than report any news.
The latest is they will build a replica! Who would build a replica of a yacht which was retired because it was no longer fit for purpose?0
