I saw this product and thought of a few Brexiters.

You were incorrect in believing that brexit was down to xenophobia and racism

Clearly the majority of brexiters were probably not primarily concerned with the harm the EU has down to the peoples of Africa

Remind me, which side was it that used a poster of Somalian refugees to stir up fear and hatred?

They knew their audience, that's for sure.

Infrastructure spending in the UK fell sharply since the country voted to leave the European Union in June, putting pressure on the government to go ahead with large-scale construction projects.
The value of infrastructure construction contracts in July fell 20% to £1.5bn, compared to June, and fell 23% year-on-year, according to consultancy group Barbour ABI, which supplies data to the Office for National Statistics. New construction contracts in July were also down £5.8bn.

Michael Dall, chief economist at Barbour ABI, said that the private and public sectors were putting infrastructure projects on hold due to the uncertainty surrounding the aftermath of the Brexit result.

Of course we won't have the ultimate test of Brexit until we know the medal haul from Tokyo 2020.

No country in the world gives automatic right of residency for everyone in the world.

I never said they did, I asked you which you prefer.

I support the view that people born here should, in general, have the right to be UK citizens and have right of residency irrespective of their race, colour, religion, ethnic origin, lgbt orientation etc..

Right, right, just their place of birth, got it.
If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.

    what exactly is your point?

that ALL people who vote out are xenophobes?
that NO people who voted stay are xenophobes?

If either or neither, does that make you feel better that the EU has deliberately disadvantged the poor countries of africa for purely political reasons, to placate the farmers of France and German?

What is your point about Somalian refugees? Do you support that the UK should accept all and every refugee in the world?

Interestingly after 2012 swimming funding was slashed after a disappointing medal tally, roll onto Rio and the swimmers medal tally is up.

One thing's for sure, the minute the UK finally, actually, really leaves the EU (2021 anyone?), UK farmers will begin to receive their subsidies directly from the UK govt/taxpayer instead of via the EU roundabout.
And just like beforehand there'll be trade barriers preventing poor African countries undercutting the UK farming industry.
    For... political reasons.

Do African countries produce enough to feed themselves yet?

If you want a breakdown of food stats for each - no doubt widely varying- individual African nation I suggest Google it.

I suspect that just like us in the UK, most African countries are massively un-self-sufficient. The UK is approx 60% self-sufficient.

With 40% of food product imported still a huge market to target. Hill farming isn't highly profitable either. Not every farmer has arable land producing high yields of malting barley.
