funny that they looked at this on the news the other night with a lender who stated that most were unaffected and house sales were still happening, new business as per usual. I think people need to stop doom and glooming and just get on with it. life is too short0

How do we debate anything with you? You dismiss anything vaguely science like that doesn't fit your view, so is there any point in trying to debate stuff logically?
Well I suppose it depends if you place any value on a 'survey' that 'forced voters to choose between single market entry and freedom of movement'.
It's a very poor question and explicitly designed to produce a specific outcome.
Then you stick up a highly misleading headline and editorialise to present the results in the way you want.
It's not very hard to do tbh. You seem to be able to spot it when the likes of the daily mail do it, so why is it so different when it comes from the I?
In actual fact, given that specific question I would have expected the result to be significantly higher.0 -
I do not understand why people have tunnel vision when it comes to the housing market. The housing market is going up and the financial markets are on the way down. The housing market requires a correction which I am hoping for of at least of 7-10%. Remember, there is a difference between a crash and a correction! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

EU rules state members must allow free movement of people from any EU country.
The UK voted to leave the EU and by definition all the rules that come with membership.
On that basis we must also ensure that there is no free movement of goods, services or capital so the result of the EU referendum precludes the UK government from signing a free trade agreement with the EU and we must immediately introduce exchange controls.0 -

Who did they poll UKIP membersI think I trust the Hamish poll slightly more than that.

This could simply mean the more expensive homes aren't being listed while owners decide to hold off and making it look like prices are down when they actually aren't. I've seen a marked drop in new listings of houses over 300k.0 -
