There you go then Crashy, the bargain price you've been waiting 18+ years for! LOL :rotfl:
It wouldn`t be a bargain at 800k let alone this asking price.0 -

it is being done right NOW and will continue for a least a year or so
so what exactly is the incentive for businesses to 'upskill' when there is an wall of cheap labour coming in from immigration?
once robots take over, clearly there is no need at all for immigration
And no need to stop it. Unless you believe everyone should be consigned to their random lottery birth place on this planet (and don't ask me again what my view of unlimited immigration is, just search and you'll find my answer).0 -

We both agree that immigration is NOT in the best interest of the people of the UK.
I am concerned about the welfare of the people of the UK.
You are unconcerned about the welfare of the people of the UK.
So the only debate is the random birth lottery: best to start a separate thread as this one is about the consequences of brexit.0 -

that is terrible propaganda
most productivity improvements are not substituteable for man power.
In fact I would like it very much if you can give a few good examples of real world decisions where a business has said ok lets not invest in x because I can hire a pole for £7.20/h to do it instead. I would also like to know in your estimate what proportion of businesses (by economic output) can and do have the ability to not invest in x because EU-migrant will do it for £7.20/h at a better quality and cost.
whereas there are clearly lots and lots of productivity and sharing improvements due to a bigger population (be it migrants or locals) everything from the fixed costs of running the state to underused infrastructure running at a more optimal capacity.0 -

clearly nonsense
massive amounts of our goods and services have benefited from reducing the manpower content.whereas there are clearly lots and lots of productivity and sharing improvements due to a bigger population (be it migrants or locals) everything from the fixed costs of running the state to underused infrastructure running at a more optimal capacity.
if this nonsesne were true then there would be a clear relationsip because GDP per capita and GDP which is clearly not the case.0 -
Without looking through 20-odd pages, apart from the jitters coming from buyers & sellers, is there any evidence of lenders toughening their lending criteria?0

Purely anecdotal but I seem to be noticing an increased amount of people reporting problems due to mortgage valuations not meeting offers.0 -
I think a lot of people are looking for things that might indicate prices are falling and Giving them much to much credence this has been going on with HPC crowd for a long time. Prices could be falling but there is no firm evidence yet.0

I tried to make a rule about not replying to you because inevitably all that happens is you make some random false statements about what I do or don't think and I get sucked into arguing with a fool. I failed in my task0
