I could go on and on.
Please don't
'Our ways and customs' are not fixed. Nor do we have one fixed defined culture. There exists many sub cultures in the UK just like in any free Nation. Everything from people who like to fight dogs to the death to people who play polo. From tattooed skin heads and punks to monks.
What you want is for the UK to closely follow your own personal customs and that will never happen. Its actually quite a natural thing to want we are tribal. The problem is once those tribes that speak other languages are gone we don't end up in some Paradise monoculture of rainbows and happyness we just discriminate the next obvious difference in our own subculture and that of 'the others'0 -
I would also cap all private rents to that of a HA property.
Far too many people buy a house then rent it out getting LHA to pay the mortgage for them.
Its legal benefit fraud.
If you dislike that the obvious solution is for the government to buy houses on the open market and rent it out for LHA until no one else wants subsidised rents0 -
People buy homes not investments.
Total lending has contracted since 2008 and will continue to do so. As lenders comply with Basle III regulation.0 -
1) The UK hasn't actually left the EU yet
2) Crystal ball anyone? Mine's 'Made in the UK' and is malfunctioning...Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
I'm talking about the UKs PRIMARY culture traditions and Religion.
Why does every other country in the world outside the EU still hold on to these things?
Why has it become taboo to keep our own.0 -

Government did buy houses for housing associations. (I live in 1 that was a repossession)
A housing association tenant or council tenant gets housing benefit.
LHA (local housing allowance) is for the private sector.
LHA is a lot more per week than Housing benefit.0 -
yes I do.
Get all the EU imposed laws scrapped as soon as possible.
Cut immigration to an acceptable level that this small island can realistically cope with.
Make it clear that if you come here to live you will 100% need to support yourself and your family with zero assistance from the state. (including housing) just like pretty much all other places in the world.
Encourage people to be proud to be part of the UK including being allowed to show that to the world by flying our flag.
Make people that choose to live her respect our ways and customs and abide by them. Just like when you go to a place like Dubai you respect their laws and customs.
Encourage people to buy British products
Make non british owned companies pay their tax bill.
Stop giving our money away to the rest of the world. Charity begins at home and we cannot afford to do it.
Nobody sends us money do they.
Lift the smoking ban in pubs.
Teach children in schools that we are a Christian country and allow Easter, Christmas nativities and hymns in our schools again.
I could go on and on.
Back to the pre Windrush 1950's ?0 -
as an example. My rent is £110 per week.
An identical house in my close is rented out privately to someone unemployed for £1100 per month.
Both rents are paid by the government.
The local authority OWN my house yet the private house is having its mortgage paid for by the government.0
