Looks like Scotland & Northern Ireland may be joining you!

I hear Scotland's pretty :D Wouldn't mind moving over there...
Will add it to my shortlist of places to seriously consider if they vote out of the UK

Edit: there are apparently some people who voted out, who now think that maybe it wasn't such a great idea after all. It would be absolutely hilarious if it weren't so damned tragic...

    Cheers Conrad.
Although I rarely agree with you on this matter, I really value your posts and positive attitude - a breath of fresh air against the backdrop of fear, hate and division spewed by other brexiters on here. :)

Ha, I've never been called a breath of fresh air before, more like a billowing pipe of cow dung.

I just adore debate but I know I can rub people the wrong way - one of my many failings

BTW I'm being asked to join a local Political committee and am considering it - but I lack confidence deep down

Do it - you are generally articulate, even if I don't agree with you most of the time. Just don't call people who disagree with you 'pious' and you'll be fine! ;)

Without wishing to seem like a sore loser (so please take this in the spirit of someone feeling extremely disillusioned, which I am), there is a big part of me thinking this today:

Bowie's Five Years has also been going around in my head this morning:

    :(

Don't despair, I know it's a blow and at first causes considerable dissonance, but I promise you in all sincerity this nation will now realise her true potential, just you wait and see

I was really down the last few days when I thought Remain would win it so I know how you feel

I think a re-establishing of the 'Auld Alliance' could be good for both nations. Economically moribund countries should stick together. :)

Yes, the worlds fifth biggest economy, that magnet that drew you and hundreds of thousands of your fellow French to make their homes in our wonderfully diverse nation. Your house on the market yet? :)

I am sure that Hollande would be delighted to have all the French who live in London dash back to France to pay the very reasonable taxes there.....
    I think....

    It's no longer the 5th I'm afraid ;)

The economy didn't draw me here. I did the final year of my degree through the Erasmus programme and ended up staying because why not?

And not selling just yet, I need to get some Polish and Romanian guys to do some decorating first :D
