They have a plan? You mean other than sooner or later come a-crying when the Island is sinking and there's no-one to bail the country out?

    Cheers Conrad.
Although I rarely agree with you on this matter, I really value your posts and positive attitude - a breath of fresh air against the backdrop of fear, hate and division spewed by other brexiters on here. :)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I've just seen Mr Trump on telly.

Have we just inspired his campaign for presidency?

I read a lot of comments from friends and relatives across the pond. The conversations over there aren't that different really.

I think the Remain campaign was the worst I can remember - all mud-slinging, scaremongering and FUD with no substance; once you stripped away all of the guff, there was nothing of any substance whatsoever.

If they had run a decent, positive campaign, they may well have persuaded people that it was worth being in the EU.

    They didn't.

Been sent an ' I'm devastated.., Farage's vision won' email from the Liberal Democrats. In my reply I said it wasn't Farage's vision that won, it was the UK people's vision and desire for change that 'won'. Time parties stopped patronising the UK public and time to get in tough with what matters to them, rather than what matters to the Tories.

Why? The UK's still in the EU for at least another 2 years, that's plenty of time for me to cross the t's and dot the i's.

Without wishing to seem like a sore loser (so please take this in the spirit of someone feeling extremely disillusioned, which I am), there is a big part of me thinking this today:

Bowie's Five Years has also been going around in my head this morning:
