If we vote for Brexit what happens

Hmm, so three leaders that aren't Tories want something that might cause problems for the Conservative Party moved to a time that would increase potential problems for the Conservative Party.
I wonder why.
That all political parties in devolved nations have enough to contend with right now with their own General Elections, without worrying about, campaigning and paying for EU referendum campaigns at the same time ? And that media coverage will be dominated by EU debate rather than policy debate. It's pretty obvious to all isn't it.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Ah yes of course. It's only the English that seek petty party advantage.
The Celts are beyond reproach in every way and all things are to be taken at face value.0 -

I'd say that three General Election's in three nations of the United Kingdom with the dates known in advance for a long time.. but of course, should always come a poor second in order of importance Generali. Well, to everyone who's not Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish that is. Obviously not 'British' or should that be 'English but in a 1939 UK context' enough for you or kabayiri.
It's not like David Cameron has until the end of 2017 to hold the EU ref or anything is it ? Oh wait..It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

The Bank of England deputy governor Andrew Bailey has said its first priority in the event of a Brexit vote is to keep financial markets stable and manage the impact on the British economy.
Speaking at a Treasury committee hearing on the economiccosts and benefits of the UK’s EU membership, Bailey said: “The first set of issues that I think would arise would be contingency planning around financial markets and broader macroeconomic fallout from the decision.”

Cameron promises sovereignty lawThe prime minister will publish plans making clear that the British parliament is sovereign, possibly echoing the German model where judges in Karlsruhe determine whether EU law infringes on the German constitution.
Mr Cameron’s move is expected to coincide with the Brussels summit on February 18-19 which is due to approve Britain’s “new settlement”, including safeguards for the City of London, curbs on welfare for migrants and a brake on “ever closer union”. A Brexit referendum would follow on June 23.

As you are probably aware, the issue of the EU is a hot topic for the Conservative Party. Mr Cameron will want to get a vote out of the way as quickly as possible. His opponents will want to maximise the pain for Mr Cameron and so want to have the vote held as late as possible.
This is just about maximising the pain for Mr Cameron or at least trying to. Mr Cameron is too savvy to let that happen so all that is left is for the celtic leaders to maximise the pain they can cause for him.0 -

It's just trouble making and speculation anyway. Cameron hasn't even confirmed a June date so they are premature.
The EU issue is the biggest issue by far which affects the entire UK. I'm sure the likes of Scotland and Wales can cope with a busy period; they *love* referendums ; the SNP would have one every week if they could0 -

Whilst its true that scotland is a region of only 5 million out 65 million of the sovereign nation state, they certainly would easily win the 'whining ', 'chip on the shoulder', 'victim culture' award for the UK.0 -
The 'deal' shows what little influence we have in the EU and what little hope there is for reform.
We're being dictated to by the majority of poor States that will never agree to rescind their rights for the transfer of access to our jobs, wealth and soverignty.
It will get worse with the accession of Turkey and other states. We're effectively giving away our children's future.0 -
Eastern European nations are creating their own voting blocs within the Union that gives them influence they would not otherwise have. This has led to Poland having an astronomical amount of EU funding to build roads, rail networks and infrastructure that puts our Victorian rubble to shame (one guess who pays for it).0
