There is no serious prospect of Turkey joining the EU in the foreseeable future. Besides who was one of Turkey's biggest sponsors supporting their membership.....yes us!..... many think with the purpose of stirring the pot to counteract the controlling Franco Germanic alliance!

Isn't anyone concerned about the potential break up of the UK? I find the prospect highly depressing!

Good to see the Netherlands standing up to that ghastly despot.
A far cry from our own PM's cringe worthy groveling before Erdogan out of desperation to sign a trade deal.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Not concerned in the slightest tbh.

If they want to be independent then get on with it.

Firstly I refer you here, for an idea of Scottish sentiment already:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5617283

Secondly as I say in that thread, IMHO a majority of Scots are far too sensible to fall for the independence promises which are based on no substance again; Scots realise that they will be poorer in an independent Scotland.

Thirdly if the UK were to break up, that would potentially greatly benefit what remains since England in particular subsidises the areas which have expressed concerns over the union.

To put it bluntly, England would undoubtedly be better off whilst the leavers would be (probably considerably) worse off.
That from a Scot who realises this as the likeliest probability.

You speak only for yourself Posh! We will clearly need people of Hamishs' undoubted talents in a shrinking UK to counteract the brain drain and pay taxes to allow the brexiteers to stay at home watching Jeremy Kyle and go shopping for their frozen pizzas and pot noodles.

Why? I have no idea why anyone cares about "the union"?

As an English person i have spent nearly all my life being terrorised by "some" irish cathloics, and being moaned at by far too many Scottish people for being their oppressor.

Can't speak for my fellow remoaner quislings, but I'm quite relaxed about it.
Do you really think there are still people around who are kind of hoping that Art.50 will not be triggered?

I'm relaxed too. Van order that's about to be placed may be Left Hand Drive (actually probably will be) but apart from that, no immediate changes :)
