No single market but tariff free trade, a phased process of implementation, we'll pay appropriate sums but not huge sums into the EU.

So are you coming around to the idea we'll quite possibly strike a trade deal just as was always claimed?

Remember my endless lists of trade deals the EU has with tiny island nations as well as the likes of S Korea.

Even Nicky Morgan sounds resigned to Brexit now, and was talking in positive terms.

With due respect Conrad, we have no idea what we are likely to achieve in these negotiations, we have set out an opening wish list, but at this stage have no idea how the other party will approach the negotiations and what they will find acceptable and not.

All of us want the best deal the UK can get from the EU, but lets not get ahead of ourselves just yet, saying we want it, doesn't mean we will necessarily get it.

I thought it was at least a reasonably sensible and coherent speech though, and a reasonable starting position given where the government finds itself politically.

Another person they don't agree with bullied off the forum though, it's not nice at all.

Considering some of the stuff toast has come out with, I can't say I think he's been bullied. And having gone back a page, I can't find anything overly rude, probs my not as bad the stuff he comes out with.

It's been claimed we'll get a sweet trade deal (they need us more than we need them) and also we shouldn't bother with one (how do you negotiate with a 'squabble' club?)

So yes I agree you'll have predicted the outcome.

Keep kidding yourself you have a bigger say because you voted leave if it helps. We're all leavers now.

A good speech today from the PM I thought.
Satisfying to watch our elected leader attempting to call the shots without having to traipse around Europe trying to garner agreement or support from some other supplicant nation within the EU straightjacket.
The clear lines of democracy from the people to our political class are being re-established, and it feels good.

May I politely request of you yet again to cease your vitriol.

Or do I really need to remind you of your own attempts at bullying within this forum?
I don't mind providing links if anyone thinks them necessary.

@Rinoa - so the PM is a racist, tell me something we didn't know before.

We're still not a lot wiser to what we were before, and very little has been given away with what the relationship will be. I've read into it in a certain way, but there's a lot of scope in what she's said for anything to happen.

I plan to start confirming plans next week, and due to the recent behaviour of people on here won't be making those plans at all public.

Don't think i'd be sharing plans either with random strangers.

Is anyone really suggesting that any of this is bullying?

    How pathetic.

Generation snowflake infects some of the older generation perhaps?
