The Guardian is the new tabloid rag, nothing more than a propagandist apologist rag. It's stories (and that's what they are) aren't journalism, they've recently undergone a profound change for the worse. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence will be able to see that the Guardian are militating in this piece on behalf of those who voted to remain and the EU without disseminating all of the facts. Another way of saying propaganda.
So pretty much like the rest of the press, then.
The FT is about the only paper I find to actually have news these days, rather than endless opinion pieces masquerading as news.0 -
Nigel Farage Verified account â€@Nigel_Farage
I can hardly believe that the PM is now using the phrases and words that I've been mocked for using for years. Real progress. If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

I just get on with what I need to do and let it fly over my head.
Another person they don't agree with bullied off the forum though, it's not nice at all.💙💛 💔0 -
@Rinoa - so the PM is a racist, tell me something we didn't know before.
We're still not a lot wiser to what we were before, and very little has been given away with what the relationship will be. I've read into it in a certain way, but there's a lot of scope in what she's said for anything to happen.
I plan to start confirming plans next week, and due to the recent behaviour of people on here won't be making those plans at all public.💙💛 💔0 -

Well now we know for sure that we're getting "hard Brexit". Sure it would have been easy to try to please as many as possible by offering up some watered down version but she's shown that she won't back down. Hard Brexit it is. The day Article 50 is officially announced should be a national holiday! Can't wait.0 -

What's that then? National car crash day? Sounds catchy, I like it
I can think of many other potential titles but I may get PPR'd if I give any names.💙💛 💔0 -

No single market but tariff free trade, a phased process of implementation, we'll pay appropriate sums but not huge sums into the EU. Nothing of substance about immigration apart from 'hearing' that a lot of people voted Brexit because they wanted to see less foreigners.
Sounds like a reasonably pragmatic approach to a difficult problem and, mercifully, far from telling the EU to shove it like some seem to think is a good idea.
It might just work out OK if people can keep their senses and block out the stupid noises that'll be coming from the self aggrandising Gove & Farage et al.0 -

You do realise the casual bandying about of this term has devalued it's potency right?0 -
