Looks like NHS won't be getting their 19 billion after all :(

I know you usually have absolute confidence in each and all government reports and forecasts , but this particular one included the immediate recession after june 23rd plus massive tax rises and interest rate rises.
Many people have less faith in it that you.

why is this a problem : do you dislike people born in the UK ?

I don't think the NHS can afford an influx of pensioners?

if most people who want to migrate here are already here, why would you fail to support immigration limits that YOU believe will have no effect.
Not sure what you mean, my support was for staying in the EU, my point supports that.

Remoaners, not long back the terrified warned us we had a deflation issue.

Now they say we will have inflation as if its something that would never have occurred when we were in the EU, lol.

    Just bizzare.

Ok so we are going to take a very small inflation hit as the country adapts to a new pound - no worse than past inflationary jumps weve all lived through (recall all the headless chickens when energy and oil were high)

All these ravings that life will end are so much nonsense

I think most of the ravings I see are in posts like this rather than from "Remoaners"

I may have voted Remain but we've voted for Brexit so that's what we're going to get.

I don't think Brexit will cause the world to end, but I do think its likely that we won't get a great deal for trade with the EU, in the short run at least, its pretty much undeniable that will cause issues for the UK economy (cue lots of people in the press blaming the EU for our upcoming economic travails).

Likewise I don't think the current level of devaluation for Sterling is necessarily a bad thing for the UK economy as a whole in terms of its impacts, however the reasons behind the fall are hardly a sign of great confidence in the UK's economic prospects.

I don't believe the Freedom of Movement principle restricts on age does it?

You can't discriminate between returning UK pensioners, or elderly people from other European countries as it stands.

The burden to the NHS is the same.

With current trade massively in the EU's favour, what we lose in exports will be more than compensated by increased UK production of stuff we currently import.

We must stop looking at the EU as a bloc. Current trade is massively in favour of ( in descending order)

    Germany
    Spain
    Belgium
    France
    Italy
    Poland

These are the 6 key players. All of which would be badly hit by a trade war. As other than Poland the others are dominated by Vehicles\Machinery exports. If I were an Asian\Pacific manufacturer I'd be rubbing my hands in glee in agreeing a trade deal with the UK.

But the EU is a bloc.

pensioners will bring their pensions with them

and although you are not a socialist and have no moral compass, but surely you can see how the Spanish people will benefit without this UK burden.

If they have any left, after selling at a loss and having to return to the UK. Plus pensioners tend to cost the NHS disproportionately more, due to age related conditions.
