Hi everyone
I've had a very lazy day, but am now springing into action to cook a beef stew (the meat was on offer of course!) and get some tidying done before my partner gets back from work in 3 hours. We'll stick some Netflix on, have some food and an early night ready for Monday again....:j DEBT-FREE AS OF 3/11/15 :T

Loving the shoes CLF - I absolutely cannot walk in heels of any height though... I love the look of shoes but often find myself in trainers or similar because heels just hurt my feet.
I don't know why I ever a plan a day off. Nothing gets done, then I just feel grumpy and guilty for not doing it in the first place. I was on the go for an hour this afternoon before I actually managed to sit down...crazy_cat_lady wrote: »

Hi
Love the red shoes. Could not wear them but appreciate their beauty .
Thanks for all your kind comments re my odd night. Strangely I have done lots today and seem not to be too sleep deprived, yet!
Chopped autumn raspberries off. unbelievably wet orchard. A bog.
Chopped down some brambles.
Gave dogs a long run
Made bread, still not happy with my loaves
Made beef stew, already eaten by men
Made flapjack x 2
Did 2 loads of washing
Knitted the front of baby jumper.
Am incredibly chuffed with myself.
Am now ready for bed and library book.
Take care all.

Can totally relate La E about getting interrupted whilst posting. I think I found Friday's post at about 10pm unposed, when none of it would have made sense :rotfl:
Late post for me. Today I have:
Made soup for lunches this week
Used half an aubergine for curry for tea
Got some yellow sticker stuff for freezer
Stuck to list in supermarket
Quick tidy round
Built a unit we bought from that Swedish place for the start of our lounge redec, whilst we've not painted yet, need to put away all the 'stuff' so we can move forward
Made DD pack lunch for tomorrow
Need to do ironing, will limit it to school uniform only saving electric :rotfl:
Submit meter readings
DH swept leaves outside and cut some plants back that were really late flowerers, looks smart now
Chilled night watching something on tv and try and get early night to start week off0 -

Sounds like a good idea, I am doing the same. Love the shoes CLF, hope they fit!
Made HM pizza for tea which is always a hit and a great way to get some veg into my teenagers. Skip filled with rubbish from shed, garden generally tidied.
Enough soup left for lunch tomorrow which is good.
Fire lit, feet up, I just need to resist the chocs that DH and DS are scoffing!0 -
List for today:
Dog walks x 2, hopefully there will be a couple of breaks in the rain - it seems to be virtually non-stop at the momentDone, it actually cleared up and was fine all day :T OH, pup and I went for a really long walk this afternoon, so free exercise for all of us (much needed, in the case of the human component of above trio!)
Use up pate and salad for lunch I used some, but there will be enough for my lunch tomorrow as well
Use a strange tin of something called 'Chinese hotpot' which came from Lidls (don't know why I, or more likely DH, bought that, but as we have it, I will use it). I was thinking of stir frying some chicken breast and peppers and having that with it. I stir fried chicken and red peppers from the freezer, and added the contents of the tin. It was a bit bland so I added extra veg and spices, and thickened a bit with coconut cream. It was ok, but I will not be buying 'Chinese Hotpot' in a tin again - and neither will OH :rotfl:
Made up rest of coconut cream, which was a bit OOD and had gone solid, into coconut milk, which I will freeze. Put a pack of c. cream on my shopping list as it is such a fab ingredient if you like curries etc
Stripped off bed and washed linen
Dry washing on airer - I forgot to put it on last night  It cleared up enough to dry one load enough to put straight in the airing cupboard, and another (the bedlinen) which can be finished overnight on the airer :T
Plant out a couple of hyacinths that have finished flowering, if there is a break in the rain, wash out the vases they grew in and put them away. Done
Go through coat racks in the hall and tidy them - there might be some items that can be added to the CS bag I started yesterdayStill to do
Sort out a few items to take to my sales unit tomorrow Done
Any surveys, FPL etc Done, got a survey from pinecone, paying £4 :T It was really boring though!!
Sort out postal survey items for the next week Done
Took a black bag out to the pavement / verge and picked up half a bag of rubbishMore than usual because the wind blew a lot of the recycling bins over earlier in the week. The street cleaner doesn't venture this far out of town, and I just don't like looking at it! Some of my neighbours also do this
Managed most of my list, plus a few extrasWhat a difference a day without rain makes!
Also managed another NSD, my 6th so far of 2016Must update signature!
I notice I have also received my 10 year anniversary badge from MSE0 -
Hi everyone!
We've been away this weekend, so not a very money-saving time for me. I'm actually now quite annoyed that we've spent so much of our spending cash for the month on one night. OH is a bad influence and after a couple of cocktails I'm just weak
Anyway, I did manage to make sure we ate tea at home tonight, got some tickets to go and watch countdown being filmed for some free entertainment in February, am using blankets on the couch now instead of putting the heating on, have made a deposit into my virtual sealed pot challenge, made some pasta for DS2's meals and made lunches for everyone for tomorrow.
I'm also looking at our finances again and reorganising everything. Time to approach my oh about us having dedicated cash 'spends' each and locking away the cards. This could be interesting...

Evening all, thanks for starting DNMS
Chinese hotpot :rotfl:
We did a big Aldi shop this morning (£58) and OH is going to batch-cook some chilli tomorrow. I'm always amazed how much we get in there compared with a shop at Mr S! The downside was it was heaving though
I popped into Hobbycraft but they didn't have any of the RSVPs in stock. I only want one packet so rather than ordering them online and paying postage I'll pop in after work tomorrow and hope they have some. All invitations are written I just need the RSVPs and stamps
One load of washing done and another one just about to go in
We met friends for a Nandos this afternoon. We had a voucher and OH had enough points for a whole chicken. We also had 4 free puddings as last time we went they didn't have our choice of puddings available. We had an absolute banquet and only spent £2.45!!
FPL and banking checked
I still need to change the bed and do some ironing
