    Mobilephonesdirect? Hows cashback claims going?

I started same plan through them recently, waiting for 4th month to see how first claim goes.

First cashback month isn't til next month.

£6.90 pcm - sim only from Three - has everything I need - can't remember the details as I have never exceeded the limits, but IIRC it's
    200 mins
    U/L texts
    250 data
  • Had a falling out with Vodaphone and I am now on a 30 day contract with Virgin. SIM only deal for £10. I have kept my phone as it still works fine. So much cheaper.

I would never agree to a traditional 12/24 month contract ever again. I would rather save up and buy my phone outright.

I bet he has an iPhone. I wonder how much he pays.

Whatever it is, I bet it'll cost more than £480 over 24 months even if he did buy the phone outright.

I don't know what Martin Lewis has, but I use a Nokia 1100, and I get through about £20/year.

    Cheers fj

Not everyone has the cash to buy their own phone outright and a contract is the easiest way for them to get a decent phone.

Still be cheaper to buy a phone outright with a loan.
