Refund refused - do I have grounds to take it to a small claims court?

So the conductor was correct in you being allowed a refund but that is only a 30 minute window which you missed.. Maybe he thought you still had time?
Hey I don't think the 30 minute thing was mentioned by the conductor, he just gave the wrong information it seems. The journey and waiting for the tram etc would take longer than half hour0 -
Implied in some posts about the twitter thing, the use of ''I'' etc, it was another poster.
Listen, I'm not perfect either but I've been to university and I'm also quite young...
1. Your OP was in the 1st person and anyone reading it would assume it was about you.
2. You then went on to say that it was about your friend.
So you've either lied about it being a friend's post (saving face) or you lied when writing your original post in 1st person (Harvard referencing? :T)
BUT nobody really cares in fairness!0 -
I'll ask him if he mentioned it
It doesn't make any difference as you still have no case, I just thought it might be a credible reason for the conductors advice...Would the conductor be aware of the amount of time someone was waiting at a stop, he most probably just thought it was worth asking at the desk instead of him giving a flat out no...After all you don't ask you don't get.....Unfortunately you have learnt in this instance 'you don't get'...Anyway a lesson for the future.... Always double check before handing of your money, that what you purchase is exactly what you want.0
