Seeing property for sale at asking prices well below 2007 still. It has to turn around eventually.0

Citylets Q2 info has average rents up 3% on Q1, maybe Aberdeen has hit the bottom?

Aberdeen will return, when the oil price returns. It is a matter of when not if imo, but it could be quite a while. When will oil get back up to $60 again let alone $100?
I doubt oil will ever go high again, were close to an electric car tipping point / revolution and fracking technology will pull more and more oil out.
The big cities will be clean of petrol cars by 2030. Those places will become more sought after. London is facing a massive no pollution draw card coming its way.
Aberdeen might be another Liverpool.

Curious as to how Aberdeen gets its own thread over Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cardiff etc
Old MSE property bull Hamish owns personal house their and crashy needs to feel vindicated after a lifetime of stupidly renting.
Crashy still doesn't understand that after 25 years the ups and downs of property prices don't matter because you then own the property outright.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -

Aberdeen continues to register year on year price falls (-3.0%). House prices in Aberdeen have been registering negative annual growth for exactly 2 years. Average house prices are 16% lower since December 2014 as the fall in oil prices impacted the economy.

Aren't you in Oxfordshire? I believe prices are at an all time high there :T:T:T:beer::beer::j:j0 -
No, I live in Wiltshire. Originally bought in 1997 in Oxfordshire, sold and rented for a while 08-12 and then bought again.0
