there is no reflection or glare in the glasses so I am not sure now, I think we will have to go and ask, the PO lady is very severe - this will be the 3rd trip to the post office this week :D

Hi, My DD's passport had expired last year, it was a child's 5 year one, photo taken when she was 13. Applied for a new one in January this year, didn't get new photos counter signed, just signed online form sent with new photos and fee and got new passport in a week. She looks alot different now from her original old passport photo but you could still tell it was her.

I have my glasses on in my passport and driving license photo. The post office told me they would get rejected but I'm stubborn and as I wear my glasses ALL the time I knew I didn't look like me without them.
Sent them off and didn't have an issue either time.
I looked at the guidelines and made sure my glasses where pushed up my nose properly without any glare. Got the passport back 6 days later. :)

    :( yes they do

:) Okay I can help here.
The photos will get rejected if he is wearing glasses. As it's all about the eyes.
No he doesn't need a counter signatory. Only if his appearance has changed dramatically since the last photo
Counter signatorys are only needed for Under 16s, changing from child to adult, lost or change of appearance.

Dead easy - fill in section 1, 2, 3, & sign the back & date.
In black pen, capital letters & inside the boxes.
No more than 5 mistakes allowed.
Black in the box if a mistake is made as scanner won't try & read it.

Fill in the card debit page in booklet & enclose - £72.50
post with 2 photos, old passport

Thanks for this snap as I've had the forms since before Christmas and still not got around to filling it up and we go to France the end of March😱😱
