I didn't study the manual of the Techwood.... but on the Humax

1. You can record programs.
2. You can rewind what you are watching as it automatically records what you are watching whilst you are watching it.
3. You can start watching something you have recorded before it finishes recording.
4. There are twin tuners so you can record two programs at the same time and watch a 3rd (on the same MUX)
5. You can delete chanels you don't want
6. The EPG is better laid out
7. You can 'Find' programs by name, genre etc.
8. It has various outputs (the Techwood only has one Scart)
9. I couldn't find how to get the Info on a program on the Techwood (but it may be there).

I could go on... but it is a completely different thing. One is a basic introduction to Freeview and the other probably changes the way you watch TV. A Topfield would be good too - especially for users with PCs who like to fiddle.

I work in Tesco, we had a delivery of freeview boxes on Wednesday and they were sold out by 1.00pm as this offer had been advertised in the papers. No deliveries since,lots of unhappy customers, but please remember the workers (me) do not order the stock in, if you are that unhappy write to Head Office at Cheshunt, or phone customers services. Why is every one so aggressive?

Well done, but they ran out on Wednesday. Your post above seems to imply you can get them online but you cannot any longer.
