I managed to get one of these, but the dogs just chewed up the remote for it. Any ideas where I can get a new one from ???

I really do not have a clue - do you have to have an aerial up on the roof or whatever for the Freeview box to work? I do not have one, having to rely on a satellite dish (and Sky  ) for a decent picture here in deepest, darkest, un-cabled Cumbria.

It depends on the strength of the signal, I suppose. Anyway for what it's worth, I just have a set-top ariel (from Argos) sitting on top of the telly and plugged into the old freeview digibox, and it gets most channels fine. And that's with an electrified railway on the other side of the road!
