Is costco worth it?

An advert in my Employer's newsletter offers Costco membership to employees for £29.37 per year. Our family comprises myself and my wife, no kids. Does anyone have any experience with Costco, and could comment on whether shelling out the £30 py would be worth it? Many thanks! gakochan

There was twin packs of chicken, beef etc but no ham - is it in the fridge section? I wonder if they' just run out or something..
