Probably wont be able to get help from the credit union then.
What are you using to pay for rent, bills etc at the minute ?0 -
Where is the money coming from in March?
Are you currently receiving benefits?
Are you unable to work?
Reading between the lines of your posts, it seems that your current living arrangements (whatever they are) are causing you mental health issues to the extent that you need to get our and find somewhere new to rent so need deposit etc - is that roughly the situation in a nutshell?0 -
brock and roll - that is pretty much it in a nutshell0

If that's the case, if you've put up with whatever it is that is causing the problem for this long, can you not try and stick it out for another 2 months?
What will you do if once you've explored all avenues you can't get the money?I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly, and I can move and merge threads there. Any views are mine and not the official line of moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I really don't think a loan of any kind is the right way to solve your problem at the moment - frankly there isn't a legitimate lender (and I stretch that as far a payday lenders and the money shop here) who will lend money to someone who isn't currently employed, at least part-time. They probably couldn't even if they wanted too as affordability regulations are quite strict now.
I have sympathy for your position - I've been in a similar state myself in the past. If would be far better for you to speak to someone like the CAB or your local authority about emergency housing. If your current condition is severe enough you may even be suitable for in patient care.
Whilst a pile of cash might seem like the solution right not, and there's no doubt it will get you out of where you are - it won't last long, you'll merely be kicking the problem down the road a bit - I feel that, given the details at hand that it will only make your problems worse.0 -
i know it sounds like not a good idea to have a pile of cash, right now it feels like the only way
i will look into speaking to CAB or emergency housing i think as a last resort0 -
