are payday lenders very bad or are there any who have more reasonable rates like banks?

Payday lenders will require money to pay the amount you borrow hence the name "Payday Lenders".

i know candyapple, - i just hoped there was an exception.
no unfortunately it is not something the nhs could cover.

okay, so really no other avenues people i could apply to? i have a lloyds account with a little bit of money in, no overdraft, is it worth trying to get a loan with them?

    thanks again

There is no exception, what's to stop you not paying the loan and just disappear ? You need a source of income to pay the loan. How much money do you have ?

Maybe not an option but what about your parents ?
  • just over a hundred
  • fruitisbad - thanks but i looked and i wouldnt qualify for more than a few hundred

I don't see any options for you then.

No money or a little amount with no job.

You got a credit card ?

Could you apply for 1 ?[/STRIKE]

Could be other options available that I'm not aware of.

If you need to move, have you tried looking into getting a Crisis or Budgeting Loan from your local council?

    https://www.gov.uk/budgeting-help-benefits/eligibility

Do you have a mobile phone you could sell? Computer? Other expensive gadgets?

You still didn't answer if you could borrow off your parents/family/friends?

If you do need to move urgently, can the council not rehouse you temporarily somewhere else?

council would take a long time

Have you looked into the crisis loan and applied ?

Your Clearscore rating of good is of no use to lenders as they don't see it.

Id look at the local credit union as mentioned in post #11.

What would you do if you cant get the money now and have to wait until march ?

What are you using to pay for food, bills etc /
